Sights of the Crimea in the spring that you need to visit. The memory of the wars and exploits in the Crimea, objects of military importance. Feodosia - given by God

Crimean peninsula - perfect place for the most demanding tourist. There is the sea, the sun, the mountains and many amazing and picturesque places. Among them are both man-made sights and beauty created by nature. Today I will tell you about the places that are advised to visit by the locals. There are probably several corners on the list that will open the Black Sea peninsula for you from a new perspective.

Balaklava

The Crimean city of Balaklava was first mentioned by Homer. He calls him quiet bay hidden behind rocky mountains, thanks to which there is no big waves. Since even the ancient Greek poet was in this city when the journey to the Crimea took several years, the inhabitants of the 21st century should definitely visit here.

Among the main attractions of the city is the Cembalo fortress. Its history begins in the 14th century, when colonizers came to Crimea. The view that opens near the main tower explains why the territory of Balaklava has always been a tasty morsel for all conquerors.

Also in Balaklava, you should visit the Naval Museum. A place for it was cut into the rock to repair submarines. For a long time, the object was classified, and the city was not on the map at all. It is believed that the building is impregnable even in the event of a bombardment. But now everyone can visit the city and admire the impregnable fortresses.

Lost World Beach

Near Balaklava there is a picturesque kilometer-long piece of land. On three sides this part Black Sea coast surrounded by impregnable rocks, and from the fourth - washed by the waves of the Black Sea. Because of this isolation, it is not crowded and quiet here. Once on this beach, everyone can feel like desert island and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Get to lost World it is possible from Balaklava on a boat, a boat and even an air mattress. Some get to the beach on their own - for this you need to swim a hundred meters around the ledge of Cape Aya. Rock climbing enthusiasts can visit this place by descending from the rocks. But you should be careful - sharp protrusions cut the ropes.

Waterfall "Dzhur-Dzhur"

The most full-flowing waterfall of Crimea is especially popular with guests of the peninsula. The peculiarity of Dzhur-Dzhur is that, unlike other waterfalls of the Crimea, which are fed by rainwater, it does not dry out even in the driest time. It originates from the Ulu-Uzen River, which falls along the rapids of the Khapkhal Gorge.

You can get to this picturesque place from the village of Generalskoe, which is located near Alushta. If you are not afraid of difficulties and are ready to climb the mountains on your own, then you will have to walk about 12 kilometers one way. If this climb is not for you, contact the locals. They will be happy to take you to the very pit of the waterfall.

Safari park "Taigan"

In the Taigan Crimean Safari Park you can observe the life of 60 lions, 40 tigers and hundreds of other animals, including giraffes, crocodiles, monkeys, roe deer, camels. Such a live 3D tour will leave an unforgettable experience for you and your children.

Since the territory of the park is quite extensive, more than 30 hectares, there are hotel where you can stay overnight to continue your tour in the morning. After the walk, it is worth refreshing in local cafes. Such a meal surrounded by wild animals will surely be remembered for a long time. Don't forget to take a ride on the Ferris wheel - from it you can see the entire territory of the park and scenic view on white mountain and a local reservoir.

The road to Taigan Park is only 40 km from Simferopol to Belogorsk. You can get there either by your own car or by using the services of local entrepreneurs and tour operators.

Chersonese

The ancient ruins of the ancient city of Khersones are located just 3 kilometers from Sevastopol. The surviving columns will make everyone think about the power of history and those periods when they really built for centuries and worked conscientiously.

Once upon a time, Prince Vladimir of Kiev was baptized here. Therefore, in addition to the ruins, in Chersonese you can visit the most beautiful Vladimir Cathedral, decorated in the Byzantine style.

Do not forget to throw a stone at the Kherson bell, which is considered a symbol for all Sevastopol sailors. In the old days, its sound served as a signal in bad weather. During the tour, you will definitely be told the romantic story associated with it.

On the territory of Chersonesos there is also a preserved ancient theater. In summer, you can watch interesting performances under open sky, performances and festivals.

In addition to historical value, Chersonese is attractive because it offers a picturesque panorama of the city of Sevastopol. Also here you can swim in the sea and feel like a real archaeologist by taking part in the expedition.

Panorama "Defense of Sevastopol"

It is worth coming to Sevastopol not only for the sake of Chersonese. This sea city leaves no one indifferent. After inspecting the ships Sevastopol bay be sure to visit Panorama. This is the name of the museum dedicated to the defenders of the city from the French and British in the 19th century. This is a huge picture that surrounds you from all sides. Climbing up to the observation deck spiral staircase, you can see it in more detail. The subject foreground will create the effect of presence at the battle for Sevastopol.

Interestingly, during the Second World War, the museum was attacked, but the residents of the city managed to save and take out fragments of the exposition. After the end of the war, the Panorama was restored and a new, no less impressive canvas was opened. Any local resident will be happy to tell you how to get to the museum.

Vorontsov Palace

The majestic building for Count Vorontsov was built in the first half of the 19th century according to the drawings of Eduard Blor. This architect also designed Westminster Abbey and part of Buckingham Palace in London. For many years the palace was the family nest of the Vorontsov family. After nationalization by the Bolsheviks, they made a museum of Russian art here, where they brought the most famous paintings, expensive dishes and furniture from all over the union.

Near the palace is another man-made creation, which is called a local landmark - Vorontsovsky park. A variety of plants are collected here, from which picturesque flower beds and flower beds are formed. Fountains, grottoes, waterfalls, sunny meadows, spread over an area of 40 hectares, will surprise you with its luxury and grandeur.

The Vorontsov Palace and the park of the same name are located in resort town Alupka on the southern coast of Crimea.

bird home

The Swallow's Nest is a castle located on the very edge of the Aurora Rock. The building looks like medieval castle V gothic style and it seems as if this most recognizable symbol of the southern coast of Crimea is about to fall into the sea. You shouldn't be afraid! The foundation of the palace is securely reinforced with concrete slabs. However, the feeling of height inside the building does not leave any tourist.

The history of the castle has many exciting stories that the museum guides will tell you with great pleasure. According to one of them, the building was called the "castle of love" and was built for the beloved of a German oil baron. Visit the Swallow's Nest and learn more about this amazing story!

The castle is located 20 kilometers from the city of Yalta. You can get to it both by your own and by public transport.

In this article we will talk about interesting places in Crimea that we visited in 2014 as part of - about non-trivial and little-known or, for some reason, little-visited sights of Crimea. That is, we will not talk about mega-popular places where tourists usually go, for example, about the Swallow's Nest or the Genoese fortress. Of course, these sights of Crimea, which have become its calling card, worth a look, but about them - another time. Also in the article we give tips on visiting interesting places in Crimea and describe how to get there.

Rent a car is the best way to travel! - reliable and convenient car rental service in the Crimea. Choose a car to your taste and budget - the choice is large. The cost of renting a car is from 1000 rubles per day. Got questions? The Russian-speaking support service will help you in everything.

Novyi Svet: Reserve and Massif Karaul-Oba

Novosvetsky Reserve and mountain range Karaul-Oba are located between the villages of Veseloe and New World. These places do not experience close attention of tourists. Rare amateurs usually get here hiking in the mountains, and even then they visit far from all the nooks and crannies of the reserve. The trails in the reserve are good, marked, but in some places you should be careful and careful. Just in case, it is better to have a map with marked trails and GPS, so as not to lose your way and not miss anything interesting.

How to get there: You can climb to the reserve either from the side of the New World (like us), or from the side of Vesely. We advise you to get to Vesely - Kutlak Bay - and go up from there, and go down to the New World. Entrance to the reserve is free. If you go through the village of Novy Svet, you need to go along Chaliapin Street and start descending along the path leading through the gorge to the Tsarskoye Beach, almost immediately you will notice a path that runs along the gorge on the right side - you need it.

Staircase of the Tauris, valleys of Hell and Paradise, Cosmos Peak and Karaul-Oba Peak

We recommend visiting this truly unusual and interesting place in Crimea to everyone. In addition to stunning views, this place has a special charm. It is believed that the ancient staircase, which was built by the Taurians, is more than 2.5 thousand years old. Whether it's true or not, climbing this stone spiral staircase will definitely impress you. Be careful - the stairs are limited on one side only and go along the cliff. In some places, the width of the stairs reaches only 40 cm, and the steps are dilapidated and worn out. One place is especially dangerous - about half way you need to cross a kind of "flight" of stairs over a cliff.

On the Staircase of the Taurians, you can climb to the platform where the sanctuary of the Tauris was previously located. From there you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the bay and Cape Kapchik. From the site, you can climb Cosmos Peak, but be careful: the stones slide and it often blows strong wind. By the way, Cosmos peak is mistaken for the top of Karaul-Oba. In fact, the top of the mountain is located on the other side of the Valley of Paradise, a separate path leads there.

Advice: Wear comfortable shoes, light sneakers with non-slip soles are best, as rocks and tree roots are very slippery in some places. Take a backpack with you to keep your hands free, as well as drinking water and something to eat.

How to get there: Climb the trail in the manner described above, either from Novyi Svet or from Vesely. We walked from the New World along the marked path to the fork, at the fork you need to go right along the path to the Valley of Paradise (in spring and early summer it blooms beautifully). Then you need to go along the valley, about halfway to the left leads the so-called Tarzan's path from the roots of trees, which ends with stone boulders. There you will see the Staircase of the Tauris, along which, after passing through the narrow and cool Adam's bed (cleft), you can climb the plateau and the Cosmos peak.

Where to stay in Crimea? It is better to look for hotels, apartments and houses on the popular Hotellook service - there you can find very comfortable accommodation at any price! For example, apartments by the sea in Yalta cost from 4200 rubles per day. Also good propositions inexpensive housing can be found in our .

Fortress Kutlak

On the western slope of Karaul-Oba, you can find the ruins of a fortress built around the 1st century BC. From the once impregnable walls there are pitiful ruins, which tourists almost do not know about.

How to get there: Through the village of Veseloye or through the New World along the ecological path described above. Use OSMAnd - all trails and sights, viewpoints and other POIs are marked there.

Cape Kapchik

Everyone who walked along the Golitsyn Trail reached Cape Kapchik, but not everyone went beyond the prohibition sign installed on it. If you go further along the path, you can go around the cape and go to a small and cozy observation deck, pleasantly blown by the wind - you can relax there. Be careful, in some places the path is very narrow, it goes over a cliff. It is forbidden to climb to the top of the cape, since, according to rumors, people have repeatedly fallen off from there, although some daredevils climb to this day.

How to get there: Walk along the Golitsyn trail and go beyond the prohibition sign, then go along the path that goes around the cape.

Surroundings of Sudak

Ai-George

This mountain in the vicinity of Sudak is unusually picturesque, as well as the road to it. Only now a rare tourist decides to climb it, but meanwhile the view from the mountain is simply amazing: on one side there are almost sheer cliffs, the valley and the Tokluk ridge, on the other - dried up, lifeless, but such beautiful beams. The height of the mountain is about 500 meters.

Advice: You need comfortable and reliable shoes, as well as a supply drinking water.

How to get there: It is better to go through the village, to which the road leads from the highway. You need to go along the vineyard, and then turn right along the path and go deeper into the forest. Half of the way passes through this forest, the walk is very easy. Next begins juniper grove and a steep climb to the top, which will take approximately 40 minutes. The descent is difficult, as the stones roll down under your feet. Try to hold on to the juniper branches and step on the roots, using them as a ladder. It is better to climb to the top either in the morning or closer to sunset.

There are also not very many visitors to this cape, known in certain circles - mostly they come here for silence, secluded beaches and hiking. Meganom can rightly be called one of the most interesting places in Crimea - there is an opinion that there are places of power on the cape, that witches hold covens here and have picnics on the side of the UFO. We wandered through this mysterious cape and we can say that there is definitely something in it: the desert landscapes of Nevada, coupled with the sea, sultry ringing silence, bizarrely shaped rocks and boulders, and circles made of stones set in a mystical mood.

Advice: You need comfortable shoes and drinking water (there is a cafe only on Rybachy Beach). Be careful, in one place the path runs along a cliff - it is very narrow and crumbles. In addition, if other people go towards you, it is unlikely that you will be able to disperse. If you are afraid of heights, it is better to pass this section by going down a little along another path - it will lead you to Cape Rybachy and merge with the main path.

Alchak-Kaya and Aeolian harp

Another interesting place on the Crimean peninsula is the Alchak-Kaya tract. This cape near Sudak was seen by every vacationer there. Mostly tourists go along the ecological path from the embankment, but we strongly recommend climbing to the very top from the side of the highway - from there a stunning view of the surroundings of Sudak opens: Ai-Georgiy, Meganom, Kapselskaya Valley and Karaul-Oba. The top of the cape is very picturesque - there is a juniper grove, a scorched valley and sheer cliffs.

How to get there: If from the ecological path after a short wild beach turn left onto the path, you will see a through grotto - this is the Aeolian harp. The ascent is easy, from here you can also reach the top of the mountain. We recommend climbing to the Aeolian Harp at sunset, when it is beautifully lit by golden rays.

Tarkhankut: interesting places in the west of Crimea

Big and Small Atlesh, Dzhangulskoe landslide coast

I would call Tarkhankut one of the most memorable and interesting places in Crimea. Due to the almost complete absence sandy beaches and remoteness from the resorts, this place has retained its purity and privacy. Those who go in for diving mainly go to Tarkhankut - it's crystal clear here pure water. We are not fond of diving and we advise you to go here for unusually beautiful landscapes: steep cliffs, bizarre rocks, endless steppe and much more. It’s worth coming here either in the spring, when the steppe blooms, or at the end of summer - the beginning of autumn: the season is closed at this time, there are almost no vacationers, the hotels are cheap (we rented a room for 200 rubles), the village of Olenevka is quiet and silent, as if everything had died out - you feel himself the last person on earth.

(Photo © Andrew Kudrin / flickr.com)

We recommend renting a bike (cheap, leave your passport as a deposit) and go early in the morning to explore the surroundings - to the southeast, where Big and Small Atlesh, the Cup of Love, the village of Mayak (it was in these places that the famous Soviet movies"Amphibian Man" and "Pirates of the 20th century") and to the northeast - to the Dzhangul landslide coast. Take plenty of drinking water and food, as these regions are deserted. There is a tent on Bolshoy Atlesh where you can buy water and a snack, but the prices are quite high.

How to get there: By bus from Evpatoria to the village of Olenevka, then by bike / car along the asphalt road leading to the village of Mayak, which then turns into a country road. Back, to shorten the path, you can get on the road through the steppe.

Points of Interest near Bakhchisarai

Chufut-Kale, Balta-Tiymez and the ruined cemetery of dervishes

Many people know and have visited Chufut-Kale in Bakhchisarai, but almost everyone passes by a small cemetery of dervishes, located a little away from the path leading to cave city. It's cool, quiet, dark, mystical atmosphere and the whisper of foliage. If you do not go up to Chufut-Kala, but go further along the road, you can (and should) reach the old Karaite cemetery Balta-Tiymez, which can definitely be called an unusual place in the Crimea.

How to get to the dervish cemetery: You need to follow the path leading to Chufut-Kale, then on the right you will see a stone gate covered with ivy - that is where you need to go.

Yalta: Ai-Petri

In the noisy and touristic Yalta, we recommend that you make an ascent (or descent) to Ai-Petri along the unusually beautiful Taraktash trail. For those who do not like long climbs, we advise you to take the funicular up and go down on foot, enjoying the views.

How to get there: By minibus or taxi to the funicular (cable station in Miskhor). Be prepared for long queues for the funicular.

Report on a road trip in Crimea in June 2017. Trip and reviews of the main attractions of the peninsula, tips and photos.

Foreword

Crimea was chosen for our first joint trip. We started planning the trip a few months before the start of the holiday. Since we do not like to sit still and prefer leisure with a tour of natural attractions (which turned out to be quite a lot in the Crimea), it was decided to rent a car and move from Kerch along the coast, stopping along the way in some cities.

Airport in Simferopol and car rental

Upon arrival at Simferopol airport, we received our luggage, called the booked car, and a Skoda Rapid drove up to the airport for us.

After leaving the airport, we stopped to inspect the car for defects and damage, and then signed the contract, made the payment, left a deposit, plotted the route on the map and hit the road. Our first planned point is Kerch.

The distance between Simferopol and Kerch is a bit. Four hours on the road and we are there. Throughout the Crimea, there are many new streets and buildings that have not yet been included on any map. We wandered along the street we needed for a long time in search of a hotel.

Yeni-Kale Fortress is one of the main attractions of the Crimea, it was built during Ottoman Empire at the beginning of the 18th century. The entrance to the territory of the fortress is absolutely free and is not guarded by anyone.

Entrance to the Fortress

We walked around and enjoyed the beautiful view of the Kerch Strait, we took some photos at the old walls of the Fortress.

View of the Kerch Strait

Remains of the fortress walls

Adzhimushkay quarries, Tsarsky barrow

Currently, there is a museum on the territory of the Adzhimushkay quarries. Entrance to the museum is possible only with an excursion group. Tour time: 1 hour, ticket price: 300 rubles. The air temperature in the quarries averages 16 degrees all year round, so visitors need to have warm clothes. If you don’t have them, don’t be discouraged — the museum ticket offices have windbreakers for rent.

The guide will tell you how people survived in these quarries without electricity, water, food, surrounded on all sides by the Germans during the Great Patriotic War.

Memorial and main entrance to the museum

The monument of ancient architecture, the Royal Kurgan, is located next to the Adzhimushkay quarries. The tour is held at a certain time, we did not get on it. Entrance costs 100 rubles.

Mount Mithridates

This is probably the main attraction of Kerch, which we could not ignore. The height of the mountain is 90 meters above sea level. You can drive up the mountain by car or climb the Mithridates Stairs, which has 423 steps. We chose the second option, parked the car at the foot of the mountain and went to conquer the previously unknown peak. At the very top, there is an Obelisk of Glory in honor of the memory of the soldiers who died during the liberation of Kerch during the Great Patriotic War.

From a height you can see Kerch. City at a glance

At the foot of Mount Mithridates is located beautiful building, and this is far from a museum, but an ordinary gymnasium. It is impossible to pass by the Church of John the Baptist.

Cape Opuk

Since we love nature more, we decided to visit the Opuk Reserve. From Kerch to nature reserve about 50 km way. After lunch, hoping to reach Opuk in an hour, we set off towards adventure. The road is bad, so it seemed to us that we got a very long time. But what we saw upon arrival was worth it.

The area of the reserve is 1593 hectares, the entrance to the territory is free. In some places there are sheds, under which benches and a table are installed. You can sit quietly, drink tea, have a snack, watch the sea and rocks that look like ships.

During our arrival, there was not a soul on the territory of the reserve, the coast was completely deserted - a great opportunity to enjoy the sound of the waves and the singing of seagulls.

Deserted beach, just us and the sea

On the territory of the Opuksky Reserve there is Koyashsky Lake, separated from the sea by a small spit. It looks fantastic. Recommended for nature lovers.

Before returning to the hotel, we decided to climb higher to enjoy the sunset overlooking the lake and the sea. The view from above is amazing!

View of Koyashskoye lake and the sea

Having enjoyed the evening scenery to our heart's content, we set off on our way back. It was already quite dark outside. remembering terrible road on Opuk, we found another way on the map and drove along it in order to return to the hotel faster. Tomorrow is a new day and new adventures!

Evening in the Opuk Reserve

The second road to Opuk is no better, and maybe even worse than the first. We drove for a long time, it was wet and dark, we made it with the last of our strength and collapsed to sleep. After a good night's sleep, in the morning we refreshed ourselves in the Maximus cafe (mostly had breakfast and lunch there), bought food with us, opened the cards and moved towards Kazantip.

The distance from Kerch to the Kazantip Reserve is approximately 85 km. We drove slowly, in Novootradnoye we drove up to Sea of Azov to bathe.

The weather was not pleasing, the bright sun was shining, a strong and cold wind was blowing, there were strong waves on the sea. We decided to take a swim on the way back. Closer to Kazantip the road goes through the forest, it looks like numerous well-trodden paths. We had to wander a little, but in the end we found the way. Almost to Mysovoye, the roadway looked like a washboard. We arrived without loss to the sandy beach.

Sandy beach near Kazantip

Then we climbed up the mountain, took warm clothes with us and went for a walk. A warning hangs on all stands - visiting the reserve without special permission is prohibited. We did not want to return to Shchelkino, so we went for a walk without any permission, kept clean, did not pick plants, did not swim in numerous bays and tried to walk strictly along the paths.

Information stand on the territory of the reserve

Bay in the Kazantip Reserve

The flora of the reserve is truly unique, we have never seen such unusual plants anywhere else.

Oil is also being produced at Kazantip. We were very surprised to see oil rigs.

The cape is shaped like a mushroom cap, the area of the territory is about 450 hectares.

Cape washed by the Sea of Azov

To be honest, I did not imagine that our walk would be so long, and towards the end of the route it would become tiring. Legs trembling treacherously, eyes looking hopefully at our car, measuring the time on the road before returning to it. We barely got there, had a bite to eat and decided to return to Novootradnoye to swim in the Sea of Azov. The sea was restless from the oncoming wind.

It was our last day in Kerch. We could not ignore the fortress of the same name (Fort Totleben), it is also called " invisible fortress". On the first day, we already tried to do it, but we arrived late and did not get on the tour.

A visit to the Fortress is only possible with organized group, the time of excursions at the time of our arrival was as follows: 10:00, 14:30, 15:30. In the summer season, excursions are made more so that everyone can visit this truly unique monument fortifications. The route is laid only along the part of the fortress, because. much of it remains unexplored. Minimum excursion group: 10 people, ticket price: 300 rubles.

The guide tells a lot of interesting things about the construction of the fort, about what was located in the buildings, how these buildings were heated, where they took water, and much more. There was so much information that we simply could not remember everything. Therefore, it is better to see and hear for yourself once and be amazed at the scale of the Fortress and the attention paid to the smallest details.

disguised structure

During the tour, we had the opportunity to see the Fortress not only from the outside, but also from the inside. After examining the premises of the Fortress, we went to the observation deck, from where beautiful view on the sea and the invisible Fortress.

The interior of the fortress

On the way to the fortress of Kerch, you can clearly see how the construction of the bridge to Taman is going on. The scale is amazing. Information about the progress of construction is located at the information stand.

Railway section of the Kerch bridge

Information about the construction of the bridge

Saying goodbye to Kerch at the entrance to the city and its bad roads, we went to the next point - Koktebel.

We drove 115 km to Koktebel, which we met with carved gates.

Upon arrival, we went for a walk along the embankment, rested and prepared for the upcoming hike along Karadag.

Karadag Reserve

We got up early in the morning to catch the first bus to the Biostation, from where hiking route, which are held only accompanied by a guide as the group recruits. The length of the route is 7 km over rough terrain. It takes about 4 hours in time. The cost of the tour is 600 rubles per person.

Before starting the tour, we got acquainted with the map of the reserve

The museum told about the history of the founding of the scientific station at Karadag, about the flora and fauna of the reserve. Then the whole group goes to the trail and goes to the first stop - observation deck. You can endlessly enjoy the sea, mountains, bizarre rocks and expanses of Karadag.

Start of the trail

The first observation deck in Karadag

The expanses of Karadag

The weather on Karadag was changing rapidly - either the bright sun shone, then clouds came up and it began to rain. A tornado appeared in the sea.

On one of the peaks of Karadag

Karadag is a field for fantasy. Looking at all these rocks, you imagine that the pillars are idols, and some rocks look very realistic and look like a giant's head.

The rock "Devil's finger" on one side looks like a finger, and on the other side it looks like an elephant's head.

Rock "Devil's finger"

But the main attraction of Karadag, for which many tourists flock here, is the Golden Gate. They can be seen both from a hiking trail and from a boat, a huge number of which offer their services on the Koktebel embankment.

Golden Gate (view from the trail)

At the end of the route, part of the group independently descends along the road to Koktebel, and the other part returns to the station.

On the way down to Koktebel

On the trail, we recommend taking water and something to eat with you. In the fresh air, and even with such physical activity - up and down - I wanted to eat already in the middle of the route. And besides the pea pods bought the day before at the market, candy canes and a bottle of water, there was no more provisions in our backpack.

Upon returning to Koktebel, we ran into the first fast food restaurant "Serdolik" that came across to have a hearty lunch. For a meal, we chose a table on the second floor overlooking the sea. Everything is quite tasty, the price tag is democratic.

Returning to the guest house, we took a shower, collected a few things and headed to Sudak, located 33 km from Koktebel.

Having passed the entire Sudak embankment, we went up to Genoese fortress bought tickets and went inside. Ticket price for independent visit: 300 rubles per person.

The fortress, presumably built in the 14th-15th century, was built almost on the edge of a cliff.

Near the guest house we found an excellent fast food restaurant Ho.Re.Ca. It has several floors, a very beautiful design, a good children's room for visitors with children, and, most importantly, huge selection dishes. The restaurant is very popular with tourists and we had to queue for 20 minutes to have dinner. Prices are average.

After breakfast in the morning in the same restaurant, we gathered in Yalta. We had to overcome about .

At the very beginning of our adventure, we made it a rule to stop by on the way to all interesting places. The Golitsyn trail is located in the Novy Svet, next to Sudak, and we decided that this is the place to visit!

In Novyi Svet, there was a difficulty with parking a car - the parking lot closest to the embankment was completely occupied, but while we were talking with the valet, one car freed up space. Parking leaves much to be desired, it is still possible to accommodate below, and the upper zone is located on a rather narrow road, where cars park in a herringbone pattern, and there is a minimum of space for cars to pass. In addition, many tourists walk along this road.

Golitsyn trail

Approaching the embankment of the New World, we saw numerous barkers offering a boat ride to the Tsarskoye Beach for 200 rubles. We decided to save time and agreed to this proposal. From the boat, Chaliapin's Grotto seems small.

Landed on royal beach, we had to climb the mountain, where numerous paths lead. The day turned out to be quite hot, and closer to the top, it was unbearably desirable to return to the beach and plunge into the water. But what amazing views from the tops...

Views from the Golitsyn trail

Numerous Azov dolphins swam in the endless sea of extraordinary color. There were quite a lot of people, it was difficult to follow the path. In some places you have to climb high ladders, but we took small breaks in the shade to catch our breath.

On one of the rocks, we noticed a film set. Crimea is really the scenery for the film, created by nature itself. Never thought that the Black Sea could be so beautiful.

Beautiful landscapes - this is why you should walk along the Golitsyn trail

Upon returning to the embankment, we quenched our thirst with cold kvass and continued our journey. The heat made us a little tired, our eyes began to close, we had to make an emergency stop and drink a cup of coffee. Parked in picturesque place, we took out the blanket we had brought with us, settled down on the hill and had a picnic.

In the Alushta region, they stopped on the road, along the edges of which, like sentries, slender cypress trees lined up.

We could not pass by another natural attraction - the Dzhur-Dzhur waterfall. By car, you need to get to the village of Generalskoe, and there you will find numerous UAZ vehicles, equipped specifically for trips to the mountains. The cost of a round trip per car is 1500 rubles.

You can also walk, but we no longer wanted to walk, especially since the path was long, and it was beginning to get dark. The road to the waterfall is already a small adventure, I have not been shaking so much for a long time (it is advisable to go on an empty stomach on a trip), adrenaline over the edge, especially on the slopes.

The waterfall itself is very beautiful, clean and powerful. In the evening there were not so many people, you could easily take a photo.

We went up to the health bath and the love bath. All this is located between the mountains in the thickets of the forest, where from intoxicatingly pure mountain air dizzy. In a good way.

After bathing along the path, we decided to climb up through the forest again, from where wonderful views of the endless rocky peaks open up. We sat on the rocks, energized and gained strength to continue the journey.

The descent on the UAZ was very scary, it seemed that we were about to roll over and fall down. But everything worked out, and we returned to Generalskoye safe and sound, got into the car, drove onto the track and enjoyed the smooth roadway. They reached Yalta already in the dark.

Plant Massandra

The tour was taken without tasting, the entrance is strictly as part of an excursion group. The guide begins his story at the main building of the plant, tells about the history of the plant, what types of wines are produced. During the tour, we walked through the wine cellars, for the first time we saw how wine is stored, and how it runs between the shops along the wine pipeline. At the end of the tour, we bought a bottle of wine for dinner.

Ticket price (without tasting) - 300 rubles.

Livadia Palace - the most beautiful residence of the last king Russian Empire. Little has been preserved in the palace after all the wars, coups and the collapse of the USSR. But what has been preserved is carefully guarded by museum workers. The price of the entrance ticket is 350 rubles, both with and without a guided tour.

The tour ends at the palace church, after which you can walk along the numerous paths of the palace on your own.

Territory Vorontsov Palace- this is the place where you can take a leisurely walk, breathe fresh air, enjoy the architecture of the palace, walk to the pond and feed the swans. We did not see tours of the halls of this palace, maybe we arrived late or they simply do not run.

Climbing up cable car to the top of Mount Ai-Petri costs 700 rubles one way per person. It is worth climbing to see the surroundings of Yalta from a height of 1234 meters above sea level. Those who are especially brave can walk along the rope ladder stretched between the tops of two rocks. At the top it was quite windy and cold, we quickly froze and went down.

Upon returning to Yalta, we stopped at the Swallow's Nest. The road to this castle was not immediately found. In Crimea, there are generally some problems with pointers. The time for visiting has already ended, but for a nominal fee you can get closer to the castle, although it is perfectly visible from afar.

After reading reviews about the uniqueness of this place and that it is better to visit it at sunset, we reached the village of Radiant (50 km from Yalta) no later than in the evening, left the car at the horse base, changed into sneakers and moved into the mountains. Free admission.

To enjoy wonderful views, you need to climb to the very top and contemplate the sunset over the valley from a height. The trail is very narrow and the feet slide over small stones, so it is important to take good shoes. On one of the trails, the ascent is quite steep, and it is difficult to climb. We did not see any signs indicating where to go, so we moved where it was easier to pass.

The sun was sinking lower and lower, and we realized that we would not complete the ascent before sunset, and we didn’t really want to go down in the dark along such paths. We admired what we could see along the way. One of the pillars seemed huge to us.

Noticing in the distance a small tourist group, we joined them. The place to watch the sunset was perfect.

According to the guide, the most important thing that everyone should do at sunset in the valley of ghosts is to kiss. It sounded like this - "Mom kisses dad, and dad kisses mom, but boys kiss good girls and vice versa." Many took the advice and in this way met the sunset of the passing day.

Balaklava

Leaving the car in the yard guest house, we went for a walk around Balaklava on foot. To be honest, we were tired - we went around one side of the Balaklava Bay, but we didn’t have enough strength on the other.

We took the car and went to inspect the other side. The road along the bay is very narrow, besides the cars there are a lot of tourists, therefore, having reached the monument to the heroes-submariners at a snail's pace, we decided to walk on our feet.

We were waiting for a path uphill, but on a more even road. Balaklava Bay looks amazing from the highest point. There are snakes on the trail, we even almost stepped on two spouses. You need to be careful, as all attention is riveted on the surrounding landscapes, and no one is looking under your feet.

View of Balaklava Bay

The next day, changing the car to a boat, we went on a boat trip to Cape Aya. A lot of boat trips with swimming in the open sea are organized from the Balaklava embankment. You can also get to small beautiful beaches. We did not swim in Balaklava itself, the beaches are tiny, and the sea leaves much to be desired.

Excursions are held according to the schedule, we had time to climb to the Cembalo fortress, and once again see the wonderful bay of Balaklava.

Trip to Sevastopol

After a day's walk around Balaklava, we wanted to see Sevastopol. Quite by accident, on the way to the embankment, we stopped at Grafskaya Pier.

Count's Quay

An indelible impression is made by the monument to the sunken ships at sunset and the Obelisk to the hero city of Sevastopol.

View of the obelisk of the Hero City of Sevastopol

A special atmosphere reigns on the embankment in the evening, music is heard from everywhere, musicians perform, repertoire for every taste.

I would like to note the architecture of Simferopol. I especially liked the building of the Lunacharsky Theater. On the way back from the embankment to the car parking place, there was a feeling that the city was somehow empty, everywhere it was dark and deserted.

Lunacharsky Theater

We came to Cape Fiolent to meet the sunset:

Not the first time we found the way to the upper point of the cape, following the signs we arrived at a dead end at the construction site of the house. Kind people showed the right direction. And here we are at the cliff enjoying open spaces and freedom, breathing in the wind and thinking only that our journey is coming to an end, and tomorrow we will return home.

Beautiful Cape Fiolent

finish line

In the morning we had a delicious breakfast guest house"Sofia Balaklava" gathered their few things, loaded into the car and headed towards the airport. Along the way, we noted for ourselves that not all places in the Crimea have yet been examined. We decided to definitely return to enjoy the unprecedented beauty and see again what we really liked.

There was still free time before the plane, and we decided to stop by the market in Simferopol for gifts for relatives and friends. Daytime roads in Simferopol are full of traffic jams, but we managed to do everything, although we were tormented by fears that we would not make it before the plane.

They handed over the car near the airport, returned the deposit minus the cost of the wheel (torn at Cape Opuk) and took us to the entrance to the terminal.

This is how our 10-day adventure through the extraordinarily beautiful places of Crimea ended.
