What mountains are in Koktebel. Natural attractions of Koktebel. Natural parks and resort attractions

Reviewing children's photographs, where my parents and sister rested in the Crimea, I constantly wanted to return there as an adult. For a long time my wife and I preferred the bustling resorts of Egypt and Turkey, but last summer we decided to go to Crimea, where tourists go primarily for the sea and unique nature. Moreover, we have decided to arrange for ourselves precisely family holiday where everyone will find entertainment to their liking. After viewing photos on the Internet and reading reviews on thematic forums, we decided to opt for Koktebel.

How to get there easier

There are several ways to get to Crimea. Car enthusiasts are driving mainly through Krasnodar region, from where the path through Kerch Strait the ferry takes about two hours and costs around 1000 rubles. However, during a storm, ferries do not run, so there is a risk of spending precious vacation hours at the crossing. People who visited relatives in Ukraine on their way to Crimea came from the mainland, but even there there may be delays at the border.

If go by train, then you also have to get from Krasnodar Territory. You can get to Anapa and from there by catamaran - to Feodosia.

There are no bus routes from Russian cities to Koktebel yet, so you have to take a ticket to Kerch, Feodosia, Simferopol or Sudak and change to another bus or take a taxi. I do not recommend the latter, because in the season the appetites of local drivers can be rather big. Although you can always bargain.

Therefore we have chosen The easiest option is air travel. Several airlines fly to Simferopol, the nearest airport to Koktebel, from Russian cities, including Aeroflot. From Simferopol to Koktebel is about 100 km, which can be done by bus, minibus or taxi. We traveled by bus, reaching our destination in about two hours.

Where to stay

In Koktebel, we found a wide variety of housing offers– from rooms in private houses to solid hotel rooms. Prices depend on the level of comfort and distance to the beach. You can stay with local residents in a rather cozy room by paying from 500 to 1500 rubles. About the same prices in hostels. In cozy mini-hotels prices start from 2000 per room, and in sanatoriums the price depends on the list medical procedures provided to the client.

But if you, like us, will be traveling with several families, then it is best to book a mini-cottage. They, as a rule, have a small pool and a playground, and for adults - a gazebo and an attic.

People who prefer comfort with a view and access to the sea will have to pay the most. For example, in the White Griffin Hotel, which has its own diving center, a two-room suite in the high season can cost 10,000 rubles.

The beaches of Koktebel

Myself the village is located in the Koktebel Bay, the beach of which consists of small pebbles, although the bottom of the sea is sandy. My parents enjoyed walking on the pebbles, thus giving themselves a foot massage that is beneficial for the body. The most popular free beach is the beach of the boarding house " blue bay», but if you are a fan of more comfort, then paid beaches are at your service, such as Papay and the beach of the Primorye boarding house.

Probably, every child on the beach is interested not so much in water as in the desire to dig in the sand. And we really wanted to take a break from the bustle of the city, so we went by minibus to Quiet Bay, located not far from Koktebel. Parents also went with us because they knew that there you can take mud baths made of blue clay.

From winds the beach is protected by Cape Chameleon, got its name because it changes its color depending on the location of the sun and clouds in the sky. We, going on a trip, saw this natural attraction of Koktebel in the photo, read reviews with descriptions, but only when we saw it live, we realized that only great classics are capable of expressing their impressions of the Chameleon in words. The cape casts either lilac, then blue, then pale pink.

And about a kilometer from the coast right out of the sea grew a stone crab. Vacationers "savage" sometimes swim there in rubber boats for mussels, which are stuck around this rock. We were treated, and I did not even think that in the field you can cook such deliciousness.

quiet bay has long been a haven for lovers of wild recreation. Taking a tent, a guitar and food with you, you can break away from civilization and be alone with majestic nature. By the way, filmmakers also appreciated these beauties. It was here that the scenes of many films were filmed, including "9th Company", "The Man from the Boulevard des Capuchins" and "Pirates of the 20th Century".

At the beginning of the 20th century, at the suggestion of the artist and poet Maximilian Voloshin, Koktebel became the center of the culture of nudism and naturism.

Natural attractions of Koktebel and surroundings

After visiting the Quiet Bay, we realized that coming to Crimea and lying on sun loungers by the sea is the same as coming to a concert and listening to music from the buffet. Therefore, the next day we decided to continue our acquaintance with the nature of Koktebel.

For a fairly modest fee, you can book a tour of Karadag nature reserve.

We went there by boat, admiring the mountains from the sea. But the most an incredible experience is a boat ride through sea rock"Golden Gate".

The way by sea is about 7 km, and the same length "Ecological Path"- Hiking with a guide. You will open incredible mountain and sea panorama with a length of 100 km. It makes no sense to talk about the diversity of flora and fauna of the Karadag Reserve - this must be seen. Be sure to visit the unique Museum of nature of Karadag. In this corner of Koktebel there is something to see, because here more than 600 exhibits: stuffed animals and birds, vegetation samples of rocks and tree species.

But the greatest impression on museum visitors is made by exposition of colored stones. Children will definitely be delighted.

Recreation for children

Tourists appreciate in Koktebel not only its attractions, but also entertainment for children. The first place to go with the family is the largest water park in Crimea. But if you think that children ride slides and swim in pools, you will relax at tables and on sun loungers, then this opinion is erroneous: the creators of the water park have provided for adults as many as 11 slides. With some of them, not everyone dares to move out. And women can relax in one of the pools or hot tubs.

Be sure to also check out what tricks do dolphins and fur seals perform in the local dolphinarium.

Then go to Koktebel Aquarium And bird park "Dinotherium Koktebel". Educational excursions will be interesting not only for children, but also for adults. All in all, Koktebel has many places where you can go with children.

Holidays for adults

I believe that a full-fledged family vacation is impossible without grandparents. If only because someone needs to babysit if you want plunge into a pleasant atmosphere nightlife Koktebel.

Without visiting coastal restaurants and cafes with sea views and high-quality live music, your vacation in Crimea will be incomplete. But fans of club culture also have a place to relax.

And in the afternoon be sure to visit the famous Koktebel winery. Wine traditions, some of which date back to the time of the ancient Greeks, will not leave indifferent even "teetotalers and ulcers". By the way, a bottle of Crimean wine is a great souvenir for your friends and colleagues.

But if possible, keep a few bottles for yourself. So that, reviewing your photos and videos on your winter evenings from your summer holiday, feel the warmth of Koktebel again.

Video in which selected the most beautiful places in Koktebel. Nature is simply enchanting. However, I will not say much, words can not convey it! It only needs to be seen.

TOURIST ANSWERS:

Koktebel is one of the most beautiful places in the East Crimean peninsula, the steppe hills, the azure sea and the ancient extinct volcano Kara-Dag are harmoniously combined here. The place, sung in many verses and poems, was not in vain the most beloved among outstanding artists and poets, one of whom was a resident of Koktebel Maximilian Voloshin.

Resting in Koktebel, you will not only improve your body with healthy sea air and clear sea, but also get acquainted with the many cultural, historical and natural attractions, of which there are a great many.

Koktebel compared to popular resorts south coast Crimea is much cheaper, but in general, in the peak season of July-August, the price in all resorts of the peninsula reaches its climax. But, in comparison with such resorts as Ordzhonikidze, Feodosia and Solnechnaya Dolina, it is an order of magnitude more expensive.

The Koktebel resort positions itself as a youthful, cheerful, party village - a country of cognacs, wine, jazz and soulful atmosphere. Here life is in full swing 24 hours a day, all kinds of entertainment establishments, nightclubs with exclusive night programs, lounge areas for relaxing after noisy discos, where you can drink green tea, cheer up and go to the beach. Previously, Koktebel was considered a nudist village, lovers of jazz, folk, hippies, people who value freedom and enjoy communicating with each other loved to gather here. But over time, the glorious place of Koktebel was seen through by other vacationers, having taken a fancy to it, slowly began to press nudists to Quiet Bay, that is, now, the nudist beach is located at the end of the village towards Ordzhonikidze, so you will not meet nudists on the usual central beach.

Pros of rest in Koktebel

- Large selection of accommodation - how nowhere in Koktebel is offered such a wide range of housing that sometimes looking at the conditions one wonders if people can really live here? (for example, a small yard, plywood sheds are knocked down around the perimeter, they contain a small window window, beds, since it’s hard to call it beds and that’s it, amenities and a kitchen on the street, common to everyone) but don’t be scared, I’m probably the worst I wrote from the options I saw. In general, everyone has the right to choose, although compared to other resorts, for the same price, the conditions could be made comfortable;

- Convenient transport ratio with other resort towns and transport hubs Feodosiya, Simferopol. In the city center there is a bus station where buses run regularly in all directions;

- Good food market and good supermarkets where you can buy quality food if you cook by yourself. At the market, refrain from buying sea salads, mussel and rapan kebabs, as well as from “homemade” wine and local chacha. Alcoholic drinks in resort towns buy only in specialized stores, thus, save yourself from intestinal disorders;

- Many interesting sightseeing and tourist programs and routes to different corners Crimean peninsula, is especially popular with vacationers sea excursion along extinct volcano Kara-Dag;

- Choice of beaches, especially for those who came to rest with their own vehicles, Quiet Bay with the purest water and a sparsely populated beach;

- beautiful view on Kara-Dag and the village of Ordzhonikidze;

- Large selection of establishments Catering , how in beach area, and in the park, bistros, pizzerias and inexpensive cafes oriental cuisine;

- Paradise for wine lovers , here is the Koktebel factory of wines and cognacs of the same name, excursions and tastings are regularly held. Although you don’t have to go far, there is a large branded Koktebel store on the embankment, as well as small shops for pouring wine into branded factory bottles from barrels. In addition to the Koktebel winery, wines are also presented in the village Sun Valley, Massandra, Inkeraman and Bakhchisaray;

- The presence in the village of its own large water park , for a change, I recommend visiting once;

- Availability for children Dolphinarium where they hold various performances with the inhabitants of the seas and oceans, you can also order a photo session or swim with dolphins;

- Large souvenir market , prices compared to others Crimean resorts much lower.

Cons of rest in Koktebel:

- Remoteness of the main housing , which is popular with vacationers from the sea;

- The beaches are too crowded during the season , fewer people get moving away from Kara-Dag, that is, towards the nudist beach;

- The quality of services provided for living , wants to be the best, for such a price;

- Large concentration of informal youth so I doubt it a good place for holidays with a small child;

- During lunch and evening hours, the problem is to find a place in fast food establishments;

- Always long lines at the bus station at the box office due to the fact that, together with tickets for Shuttle Buses, the cashier sells tickets and trains.

- in a very hot summer, you can smell the sewer in many areas of the village;

- taxi drivers bending fares, especially in the evening. I recommend for trips to have a phone number of a trusted taxi driver with a reasonable rate, always bargain and the price can be reduced by half;

some not very friendly locals renting housing, charging a high price for accommodation and at the same time exposing vacationers to harsh conditions, and we were faced with more than one or two such proposals (for example, the hostess clearly described to us that we should come no later than 24.00 otherwise she would close the yard, sit under starry Koktebel sky in the gazebo near the house after 23.00 and drinking wine is prohibited, as well as visiting your home by friends without the knowledge of the hostess is also prohibited). In general, when booking a room in advance, or a whole cottage, specify such nuances in advance, as they still have some kind of money back rules, if something does not suit you, naturally not in favor of your wallet!

As in any resort village, there are positive and negative sides, but the most important thing is to tune in to the positive and enjoy the sun, the sea, the heady Crimean air, but at the same time not to lose vigilance.

Helpful answer?

Koktebel is beautiful resort village. Located in a mountainous area, at the very foot of the Karadag mountain, the village has, as it were, a special attraction and has its own unique atmosphere of relaxation.

Sung in his works by the extraordinary Russian writer and painter Voloshin, Koktebel at one time became the "cradle" of the poetic beau monde.

Almost all famous poets wrote about him, singing unsurpassed beauty, solitude and tranquility.

But time passes, everything changes. And now there is no trace of peace and quiet. Koktebel turns into a noisy, more youthful one continuous entertainment center on the shores of the beautiful Black Sea.

The resort village cannot boast of an abundance of attractions, there is the Voloshin house-museum (which should be visited, at least for a change), and of course the visiting card of the resort is the Golden Gate.

Also, if you have a rich imagination, in the rock, at the Golden Gate, you can see the profile of the famous writer. But, either we did not have enough fantasies, or we looked from the wrong angle, we did not manage to see the profile of a celebrity. Yes, and to their shame, they learned about Voloshin only at the resort.

There is one more place in Koktebel, noteworthy vacationers. And the place is "New Koktebel". This is a place of youth holidays, nightlife, music and discos. A log-lined descent into the sea, rustic-style dance floors lined with “rough logs”, and under this log deck the beautiful Black Sea splashes.

And the most pleasant attraction for all male vacationers is the cognac factory with the same name "Koktebel".

Excursions go to him, Brand stores are open at the plant,

cognac is wonderful and is much cheaper at the factory than in the village.

Although on the market you can buy the same drink, but already in plastic bottles. According to the sellers - poured from the factory "branded" tap, just "a little bit stolen."

As in any resort of the Crimea, there are plenty of places to stay. From luxury hotels and hotels at the very edge of the sea to the budget private sector. The resort is not offended by boarding houses and recreation centers. There is everything. So, the choice of a place of residence depends on the vacationer himself, the fullness of his wallet and the availability of services provided in rooms or the private sector. Accordingly, the price is also affected by the distance of the proposed housing from the sea and the main places of entertainment. But these are the basics of choosing a place to live, everything is like everywhere else, all resorts have the same pricing policy.

The beaches of the resort are not much different from the rest of the Crimean ones. They are pebbly. Sea-turned pebbles of various sizes cover the entire sea coast. It is more expensive to rest without a sunbed. Such a pebble-acupuncture mass your body will not endure for a long time. Free beaches mass, but there is a small but ... And this is a but - the banal desire of "businessmen" to earn money no matter what. All beach services are paid. The beach is already initially lined with sun loungers, awnings, umbrellas with decking.

And it turns out that the beach is free, and getting on a sunbed is for denyushka. And the amount is not small 30 hryvnia per person (almost 4 dollars for each). So it turns out that it is better to go to paid beach sanatorium (UAH 20 already with sunbeds and umbrellas, beach cabins and showers) than on a shareware for more expensive price. For kids pebble beaches Not good. The children and I suffered, it is always necessary to wear shoes with hard soles (so as not to tuck the leg), and you will agree that this is inconvenient. Be especially careful at sea with children. The sea is clear but deep. And the depth of another bunk somehow sharply comes. You go, like waist-deep, another step - up to the neck. With small children it does not hurt and such bathing is suitable. I had to buy a children's pool to be absolutely calm. We are a little more fortunate. We rested in a sanatorium in the central part. For us (vacationers in the sanatorium itself) the beach is free and food was included in the price of the ticket. And speaking frankly, there are pebbles on the beach of the sanatorium - as if on extortion, and there are no such differences in depth in the sea. But it's still dangerous with small children.

You can eat anywhere in the village. From simple fast foods (lavash, delicious pancakes, chebureks, shawarma), to more civilized food in various bars, restaurants, cafes scattered throughout the waterfront. A lot of budget canteens are all clean, tasty and inexpensive. The cuisine is mainly national, Tatar, but if you want and denyushka, any cook, any cafe, restaurant will cook food for you from any cuisine in the world. The whole range of services for your money. We liked the cafe "Shinok". We used to go there often when walking along the promenade. Prices do not bite (strongly) and the food is delicious.

The embankment is narrow, does not accommodate the number of vacationers walking along it, but well-groomed. It has an abundance of stalls with various souvenirs, a lot of young (and not so) artists, live music. In a word - great, especially in the evening.

There is another "attraction" in Koktebel. Great nude beach.

I never thought that in our country there are so many adherents of this type of recreation. They live mostly in isolation tent camps right there on the beach, and, accordingly, they swim and sunbathe in their natural form.

There certainly is no way with children.

Koktebel is famous for its abundance resort entertainment. The most popular of them are naturally beach. all sorts of water attractions, boat trips. One of these could not be missed. Everything is like in the novel "Scarlet Sails" - a walk on the boat "Assol".

Romance. Otherwise, as everywhere else - hang gliders, there is diving, water liches. The children were not forgotten either. On the beach slides, trampolines. In the evening, there are swings, carousels, but there are not many children's entertainments, in the evening everything is for adults.

Of course, a water park, a dolphinarium, I think that a water park is an expensive pleasure. A ticket for adults is 280 hryvnia ($35), not everyone can afford it.

Once you can go to the dolphinarium. Good program.

In early September, Koktebel hosts an annual jazz and rock festival. Not only music lovers flock to it, but also simply “reckless” youth. Well, the conclusions from this are simple, at festivals they not only listen to music, but also “fill up” with local alcohol “to the top of their heads”.

They live in tent camps and these places turn into a garbage dump at the time of such festivals.

Koktebel - picturesque city which is filled with various attractions. Maximilian Voloshin's house is located in the center of Koktebel. On the right, on Mount Kara-Dag, nature itself immortalized his profile. On the left is Mount Voloshin, here, according to his will, he is buried. Tsvetaeva said that a magic triangle was formed here, wherever you go, there are memories associated with Voloshin everywhere.

The most popular sights of Koktebel:

The main attraction of Koktebel is Mount Kara-Dag, one of the wonders of the Crimea, the oldest extinct volcano. After all, this is not just a mountain, but a real volcano of the Jurassic period, in whose memory the formation of the planet and giant dinosaurs. Mount Karadag is about 150 million years old. The names of the rocks on the mountain have a variety of names: Ivan the Robber, Gingerbread Horse, Devil's Finger, Golden Gate. More about

On the territory of the Kara-Dag nature reserve there is the legendary Devil's finger, which attracts incredible amount tourists and beauty lovers. This attraction has several names, one of which is the Sphinx Rock.
The borders of the Kara-Dag reserve are surrounded by small houses. Rangers live and work there, who protect the reserve from people who do not respect nature.

Arriving in Koktebel, do not forget that this region is famous for its wines and cognacs. Special climate, volcanic soil and a unique combination of other natural conditions, make the products of the Koktebel plant unique. Cognacs are aged in real oak barrels for 25 years. However, the plant is famous not only for cognac. The main advantage of Koktebel wines is that they are all made from natural raw materials of local grapes, they have a fresh taste, subtle aroma, full of minerals and vitamins.
In Koktebel, almost on the seashore, there is Europe's largest modern site. There are concentrated approximately 4.5 thousand barrels of Madeira. This wine, unlike other brands, is not aged in cellars, but under open sky absorbing the living energy of the sun, wind, rain and sea air.

Sights of Koktebel for active recreation

The house has been preserved since the beginning of the 20th century and was built personally by Voloshin. Together with him, no less famous personalities lived here from time to time: Gumilyov, Tsvetaeva and many other celebrities. Voloshin was a creative poet, writer, artist, he valued life, personality, man. Interesting people gathered in this house, they wrote poems, creative meetings were held, performances and skits were staged. In the early 1920s, when the Crimea passed from the Bolsheviks to various gangs, then to the Whites, Marya Stepanovna, the poet's wife, a nurse, hid representatives of various warring parties in her house. She was a Christian
In Koktebel, exhibitions of fences were held - two months a year (May, September). Local artists still paint and exhibit their work on the waterfront. It is a spectacular sight and is popular on the Crimean peninsula. More about .

Sights of Koktebel within walking distance

Cape Chameleon is one of the unusual sights of the village of Koktebel. Cape Chameleon is located about three km. east of the village. The cape earned its name due to the constant change of its color. The color of a chameleon directly depends on the time of year, the weather of the time of day. In addition to color, the name Chameleon is also associated with its shape. If you look at the cape from the shore, then its shape resembles the back of a chameleon, with its muzzle directed towards the sea. Cape Chameleon is very well adapted for hiking. Walk to the cape from Koktebel about 30-50 minutes. Having reached the cape, you can walk along its crest, almost to the sea. The path leading along the ridge is quite narrow, so if you have a fear of heights or you don't put on comfortable shoes, it's better to postpone the walk along the ridge and enjoy the beauties of the cape from the shore. Near the cape there is a quiet bay. Usually it's not crowded and almost always pure water. More about .

They are located at a small distance from each other, although the village is relatively small, it takes years to discover its sights. Around Koktebel there are a huge number of small bays and wild beaches, many hills and small mountains, juniper groves, and most importantly, the warm sea and lots of sun.

Nudist beaches

Within the boundaries of the village, between two ordinary beaches in the Junge hill area, there is a beach for naturists. It has existed here for a long time, even before the resort popularity of this settlement. You can probably guess who painted their paintings from the nude here?

The beach has its own infrastructure, from changing rooms, bars, beach equipment, to water activities.

Nudist beaches are also located in the eastern part of Koktebel, but unlike the above, there is no improvement there.

The Golden Gate Rock is one of the indisputable business cards Crimea. And there are many reasons for that. Take at least the form - it is rare to see a volcanic rock in the middle of the sea in the form of a real arch, so similar to ancient building that sometimes you even doubt whether this is the work of human hands.

This name is picturesque rock received for two reasons. Firstly, it is home to amazingly beautiful yellow lichens, giving the rock a matching color of delightful hue. The second reason is the extremely good location of the rock - the setting sun always paints this rock in scarlet-gold colors, and the sun seen at sunset through the opening in the rock will be remembered for a long time. There is also a legend associated with the opening in the rock. Everyone who swims under the arch of the rock will be rewarded with the fulfillment of their most secret desire. The bottom at the Golden Gate speaks about the popularity of this myth and this place - it is all strewn with a variety of coins.

An interesting fact about the Golden Gates is that they are depicted from memory by the great Russian poet on the margins of the manuscript of "Eugene Onegin", and they are depicted very recognizably, there is nothing to confuse them with. The Golden Gate is very high place in the hierarchy of Crimean attractions, and not by chance. And this is worth seeing for yourself.

Mount Klementieva

Mount Klementieva (old name Uzun-Syrt) is located on southeast coast Crimea between Feodosia and Koktebel. Thinking in geographic terms, this is mountain range about 7 kilometers long, reaching a maximum height of 130 meters. And if we talk about the role of this mountain in the history of the development of Soviet aeronautics, then this is, without exaggeration, the cradle of domestic aviation.

The mountain is named in memory of the test glider pilot Pyotr Klementyev, who died during the tests of a new glider in 1924. Uzun-Syrt is a huge horseshoe with a flat top curved to the north. Inside this horseshoe lies deep depression Barakol, from where ascending air flows rise at all times of the year, washing the top of the mountain. This is the uniqueness of Uzun-Syrt, there are only two such places in the world. That is why Mount Klementieva has become a Mecca for all fans of air sports, and Koktebel itself was called Glider for many years.

In that unique place General designers Oleg Antonov, Alexander Yakovlev, Sergey Ilyushin, creator of spaceships Academician Sergey Korolev began their journey.

Today, the Koktebel Gliding Center operates on the mountain, and modern romantics of the sky regularly start from here - on paragliders, hang gliders and gliders. On such days, the sky above the mountain is colored with colored domes, and you can endlessly watch people who have overcome their fear of heights.
