Showforum tourism in Moldova is the statistics. Rural tourism in Moldova, tourism company La Hanul lui Vasile, recreation in Moldova, description of rural tourism. The places are banal for us, but amazing for foreigners. Tourism in Moldova - what to show

If someone from abroad is going to visit you, even if it is near, you will probably want to show these people our country in such a way that they like it, remember it and pleasantly surprise them. Or maybe you yourself like to discover Amazing places our country, and you do not need a good reason in the form of foreign guests for this.

In our article you will find an overview of the most interesting places from the point of view of tourism, you will find out where in no case should you take foreign guests, and which places in Moldova are common for us, seem very interesting to foreigners.

The easiest option is to resort to the help of a travel agency. Still, professionals in this field will be able to organize any excursion much faster, more efficiently and more interestingly. Moldovan agencies often offer tempting options in terms of price, so we advise you to keep an eye on their offers.

Maremar Tur

Tour operator Maremar Tur has been providing travel services in the Moldovan market for over 12 years. One of the main activities of the company is the organization of excursions. bus tours across Europe with departure from Chisinau. Some tours are combined with holidays in the resorts of Spain, Italy, Greece. The tour operator develops routes by order of corporate clients.
Services: excursions, rest, treatment in a sanatorium.
Main destinations for recreation: Bulgaria, Greece, Montenegro, Spain, Romania.

If you want to personally organize the leisure of your guests, tips will help you Luby Dogar, travel agency manager.

What, according to your experience, is the most interesting to see in Moldova?

The most popular among foreigners, and local residents still remains wine tourism. This is Moldovan pride and the main attraction. Cricova, Milestii Mici, Ialoveni, Cojusna - sightseeing tours are held here, during which guests are told Interesting Facts about Moldovan winemaking, arrange mini-tastings.

There are also Purcari and Chateau Vartelli complexes. Here, unlike the above places, there are hotels and restaurants, so you can stay the night and longer.

Besides wine?

The second most popular sights of Moldova are the monasteries: Hincu, Capriana, Curchi, Saharna, Tsypova. These and many other monasteries in Moldova are unique in their essence, and, as a rule, delight all visitors. Prices for excursions there consist of the cost of transport (depending on the location of the monastery), the services of a guide and the presence / absence of lunch.

If you want to show your guests the monasteries, I advise you not to include everything at once in the trip program. 1-3 monastery will be enough, otherwise they will get tired. This is especially true of such monasteries as Tsypova and Saharna, where you need to walk a lot along rocky and forest paths.

I know that many tourists are amazed Old Orhei.

Yes, Old Orhei deserves special attention. This is a unique natural and historical complex under open sky. Cultural layers of various epochs were found here - from the Paleolithic to the late Middle Ages, earthen and wooden fortresses of the Geto-Dacians, as well as traces of two medieval cities- the Golden Horde Shehr al-Jedid and the Moldavian Orhei.

There is also a rocky Orthodox monastery "Assumption Mother of God" (some sources attribute it to XII century). Today, the rock church is open to tourists at any time of the year. Not far from the monastery you can see the museum "Peasant's Court" (XIX century), the landscape reserve "Trebuzhen".

In addition, this is an excellent destination for "rural tourism". Indeed, in Old Orhei, guests of Moldova have the opportunity to live in a real village house. There is a small complex that can accommodate up to 30 people. It is a group of 2 houses with a pool. Moreover, all foreign tourists especially appreciate the fact that this is not just a stylization “like a village”, but real “grandmother's” houses. Holidays for tourists separate fee, arrange performances with folklore dances and various Moldovan traditions.

And what is the opinion of foreigners about Pridnestrovie?

Oh, this is a very interesting, even "exotic" direction for them. We have an excursion there called "Return to the USSR." In the same place, Soviet symbols have been preserved everywhere - coats of arms, red stars, monuments to Lenin. Europeans love to be photographed against their background. When traveling to Transnistria, I advise you to visit Tiraspol, the oldest winery in Moldova - Quint, as well as Novo-Nyametsky monastery(it is 5 km from Tiraspol). This monastery is the largest religious architectural complex on the territory of Moldova.

What other interesting places are there in Moldova?

There are actually a lot of them. This is the village of Lalova in the North of the country (there is a complex for tourists), and the city of Soroca with its fortress and local color, Valul lui Trayan, the Kodry nature reserve with its "Museum of Nature" ... There are unique place in the North of Moldova, called Farfuria Turcului (Turk's Plate). There, on a rather large round plot of land, grass does not grow at all, it is not known why.

Now we organize excursions "Moldova in 5 days" or "Moldova in 7 days", which include a rich program of visiting the main interesting places of our Republic.

And if it is not possible to travel outside of Chisinau?

There are also many interesting things in Chisinau. Parks, monuments, Parliament and City Hall buildings, Cathedral"Christmas" Triumphal Arch, Organ Hall, Church of St. Panteleimon, Museum of Ethnography, Museum of History, Pushkin House Museum and much more. Usually we offer tourists to make sightseeing tour by bus and pedestrian - in the city center.

What problems most often arise when organizing excursions in Moldova?

First of all, this is an undeveloped infrastructure - all hotels are mainly concentrated in cities. This means that it is difficult to find a place to accommodate tourists. Either you need to plan excursions so that you can spend the night in Chisinau, or negotiate with the hotels closest to the sights, sometimes even with children's camps (this is possible with the exception of summer season when they are busy).

Also, tourists and those who invited them are often surprised high prices to stay in our hotels. There is nothing you can do about it - local specifics. Other cons - bad roads, lack of pointers. However, for some this is not a minus, but even an additional "exotic".

After listening to the expert's opinion, we decided to interview ordinary residents of Moldova, who happened to host foreign guests. Based on their responses, we have compiled two lists. First:

Places where you SHOULD NOT take foreigners in Moldova

1) Zoo. Chisinau zoo in last years markedly improved, and yet he is very far from European level. It usually evokes nothing but pity for animals in foreigners.

2) Vadul-lui-Vode and others " resort areas» near Chisinau. The ratio of the level of service and prices, as a rule, simply shocks visitors.

3) Restaurants of "European", as well as national cuisine of the country where the guest arrived. The dishes that are served there can be very far from the cuisine to which they are attributed. However - not everywhere, if you are confident in the restaurant - you can invite guests there.

Places are banal for us, but amazing for foreigners

We will devote the second list to places that are unremarkable for us, but foreigners unexpectedly liked them.

1) Central market. Yes, yes, most foreign guests are delighted with this place, which is so unloved by many Chisinau residents. There they see so much Moldovan flavor “in one bottle” that they are overwhelmed with emotions for a long time. Be sure to bargain with grandmothers selling cucumbers, try pickles, drink juice at a local eatery.

2) An ordinary village. If you have at least some relatives in the Moldovan village, be sure to visit them. rural houses, ornate fences around them, wells with crucifixes - all this is very interesting to foreigners. And with what rapture many of them follow the milking of goats, harvesting grapes, peeling corn and other "village everyday life" - beyond words.

3) Moldavian celebration. If you manage to show a Moldovan wedding to a foreigner, it will be just wonderful. Kumetriya or a traditional birthday will also do. Foreigners are very surprised by the love of Moldovans for dancing, their table customs. One Muscovite who traveled half the world, having visited a Moldovan birthday party, said: “Now I will tell everyone that Moldovans are the most dancing nation in the world.”

4) Club or disco. If your guest is a young person (even if only in his soul) and restless, take him to the club. Oddly enough, but the level of our nightly entertainment venues rated by foreigners as very good. They like our funny people beautiful girls and relatively low prices for hot drinks.

5) Beauty salon. If your guest is a guest, that is, a girl or a woman, invite her to visit one of good salons beauty of Chisinau. Usually foreign ladies are pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of our masters, especially with regard to various hairstyles and styling.

And finally, we advise you to definitely take guests to a restaurant of national Moldavian cuisine or cook something from our dishes at home. I was told about the Poles, who were so delighted with the Moldavian cabbage rolls that for 5 years now they have been regularly asking their Moldavian relatives to send them grape leaves by mail to prepare this dish.

Despite its small area, the Republic of Moldova has a significant potential for the development of tourism, represented by the geomorphological features of its territory, including all natural monuments, landscape reserves, nature reserves And geological monuments European and world significance.

There are 87 museums in the Republic of Moldova. These museums are specialized, but at least 20 of them can be offered to the general public. Most of the museums in the Republic of Moldova are located in buildings of special architectural significance and have rich collections of exhibits.
An integral part of the national tourism product is the diversity of cultures of different regions of the country. The Republic of Moldova is a mixture of nationalities and cultures with many traditions, languages, folklore, cuisine, etc. There are about 880 folklore groups in the republic. Many of them reflect the traditions characteristic of the region and their ethnic traditions. Despite the fact that busier tourist routes lie a little away from the capital of Moldova, Chisinau, travelers from almost all of Europe travel to this country of viticulture, early Christian monasteries and national cuisine. In terms of what can tourism Moldova, can provide each of the travelers who came to this country, first of all, it is worth noting the presence of a fairly large number of early Christian rock monasteries and medieval Orthodox cathedrals, which, despite their decent age, are quite well preserved.

In particular, one of such historical artifacts can be called a rock monastery located near the village of Tsipovo (Ţipova), in the Rezina region. The historical attraction of this sights of Moldova lies in the fact that founded in the VI century, it became such a revered center of Orthodoxy in the Middle Ages that one of the kings of Bessarabia, the XV century, Stefan III the Great (Ştefan cel Mare) got married in this monastery with his wife Maria Voikitsa.

The second no less remarkable direction in the tourist activity of Moldova is its winemaking, because thanks to its geographical location and favorable climate, this sector of the Moldovan economy has been the main one since prehistoric times. After all, the archaeological excavations they unequivocally say that, starting from the 3rd century BC, there were quite strong ties between the winemakers of the then Moldova and their colleagues from Ancient Greece And ancient rome. So, with a great deal of confidence, we can say that modern wines and cognacs of Moldova have quite ancient history of its origin.

No less remarkable element that creates tourism here, is the national cuisine of Moldova. Taking into account the fact that the fertile land of Moldova allows not only to grow a significant variety of agricultural crops, but also a significant amount of diverse living creatures, this has significantly affected its national cuisine. And if, at least once, having arrived at any of the resorts of Moldova, it is simply impossible not to try out such masterpieces of this fertile land as the same corn mamalyga and sheep cheese. Moreover, if on your dinner table there is a bottle of "White Stork" and a portion of lamb goulash seasoned with vegetable salad, then any trip to Moldova will be truly unforgettable.

Resorts of Moldova

The main area where the main resorts Moldova, is located on the banks of the Dniester River, which has not only a favorable climate, but also a picturesque landscape, which is simply adapted for the location of numerous hotels, resorts and recreation centers. And the most popular of them is the resort of Vadul-lui-Voda, which is located just 23 kilometers from Chisinau and has quite good infrastructure for the development of tourism and resort business.

Ski resorts in Moldova

So it turns out purely historically, but there are no natural ones in this territory, although purely climatically and an abundance of winter snow quite allows the organization of this kind of tourist service. It was for these reasons that a few years ago the Slanic Moldova project was implemented in Moldova, which involved the creation of a number of artificial ski slopes used in summer time, How balneological resort.

Medical resorts in Moldova

One of the main reasons for building ski resort"Slanic Moldova" ("Slanic Moldova") was the fact that on the same territory of the Republic there is one of the oldest balneological resorts in the Balkans with the same name. So what are the healing resorts Moldova have a rather long history, since "Slanic Moldova" ("Slanic Moldova") were discovered in the middle of the nineteenth century on the basis of the presence of more than twenty mineral, healing springs.

Tours of Moldova

Due to the fact that Moldova does not have decent territories, and this is only 34 thousand square kilometers, then in Lately among the many tourists visiting this republic, the most popular bus tourist. Which, as a rule, begin in the capital of the Republic of Chisinau, and then the travel route runs through such cities of Moldova as Balti, Tiraspol, Bender and Rybnitsa.

Rest in Moldova

Despite the fact that Moldova does not have such tourist brands as France, England or Spain, but rest in Moldavia has its own positive sides. In particular, to spend one and a half or two weeks in this Republic meaningfully and with pleasure, traveling around its main attractions on a comfortable bus or living the same time in a resort such as Slanic Moldova (Slanic Moldova), you can spend much less Money. After all, a similar vacation in the same Greece or Bulgaria will cost much more.

The beaches of Moldova

Based on the fact that Moldova has no access to the sea, the main beaches Moldova concentrated on the shores of her big river Dniester. In particular, the largest number of them is concentrated in such a resort as Vadul-lui-Voda.

Moldova Hotels

Taking into account the fact that the tourism and resort business in Moldova has a different rich history, then today in Moldova there are three main types of hotels. First of all, it is worth noting hotels Moldova built in the last one and a half or two decades, which are distinguished by the presence of European standards of service and architectural layout of rooms and interior spaces. The second type of hotels in Moldova include quite a large number of sanatoriums and recreation centers created during the socialist Moldova, which are not distinguished by special sophistication and quality of service. And the third type of hotels in this Republic can be called the so-called rural-type hotels created by private entrepreneurs in rural areas and in the suburbs of the same Chisinau, Bendery and Tiraspol.

Transport of Moldova

Considering that Moldova is European country, because Moldova is not only a member of the UN, but also an associate member European Union and NATO, there was no doubt that it had quite developed system automotive and railways. As well as other transport communications, including international and intercity airlines and river lines for the transport of passengers and goods along the Dniester.

The very concept of "ecological tourism" is a relatively new phenomenon in tourism. The beginning of the formation of the concept of ecotourism should be considered the 80s. Places where human footprints are rarer than those of wild animals, where winding paths remember footsteps ancient man, where a cuckoo is counting someone's age in quiet oak forests, more and more often attract lovers of untouched beauty and active rest. It is the focus on the environmental component in order to attract tourists that can explain the increased attention in recent years to visiting places with unpolluted nature.

In 2014, more than 14.3 thousand foreigners visited Moldova. This is 9.2% more than a year earlier.

Of these, 8,355 (+31.7%) came for recreation and entertainment, 4,952 (-16.9%) - for professional purposes, 559 (-6.2%) - for treatment.

Another 492 foreigners visited Moldova for other purposes, which is almost twice as many as a year earlier.

WHERE THEY COME FROM

Most of all visitors are from Romania - 21.2% (+3.7%), Russia - 13.9% (+1.7%), Ukraine - 10.7% (+2.8%), Germany - 4, 9%, Turkey - 4.8%, Italy - 4%, USA - 3.9%.

BY THE WAY

Travel agencies of Moldova sent over 180.6 thousand tourists abroad last year - 14.7% more than in 2013.

The absolute majority went on vacation -178.2 thousand (+15.5%). As before, Moldovans prefer to rest in Turkey - 35.2%, Bulgaria - 33.4% and Romania - 10.2%.

By domestic tourist routes 43 thousand residents of Moldova were sent - 26% less than a year earlier.

However, high hopes are pinned on rural tourism in Moldova.

The essence of eco-tourism

Ecological tourism is a type of tourism that is expressed in the active pastime of a person in natural environment not only with the use of its recreational, educational and other opportunities, but also with regard to their preservation and enhancement, both on a conscious and practical level.

Distinctive feature ecological tourism

The main idea of eco-tourism is, first of all, taking care of the natural environment, which is used for tourism purposes. It is this use of the riches of nature that is the hallmark of eco-tourism.

Tourist statistics

Grand Canyon of the American East

Ecotourism - travel to relatively undistorted or unpolluted areas with unique natural objects. This is nature tourism, which includes the study of natural and environment and serves to improve the situation in this environment.

The park stretches for 24 kilometers along the Jennessee River, passing three large waterfalls and about 50 smaller waterfalls on the tributaries of the Jennessee.

Recently in Moldova

In Moldova, eco-tourism has become widespread quite recently, although it is very popular in the West. The main goal of this type of tourism is not to harm nature. Vacationers make halts only in permitted places, collect natural resources only where permitted. Besides, tourist complexes, working in this area of tourism, are built exclusively from environmentally friendly materials that are harmless to nature.

Statistics for the first half of the year showed that Moldovans prefer to travel to Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Egypt, Greece, and Ukraine. The Republic of Moldova was visited by foreign tourists from Romania, Austria, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Poland. Outbound and inbound tourism increased by more than 20 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. Domestic decreased by 4.5 percent, IPN reports.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics in the first half of the year travel agencies and tour operators provided services to 135 thousand tourists and sightseers. This is 22.4 percent more than in the same period last year. The increase in the number of tourists and sightseers is due to the growth of tourism abroad (+28.2 percent) and inbound tourism(+24.9 percent).

Out of 8.3 thousand foreign tourists and sightseers who visited Moldova in the first half of the year and used the services of travel agencies and tour operators, more than 80 percent arrived for the purpose of recreation, 16 percent for commercial purposes, a little more than 3 percent for treatment.

Most of the foreign tourists and sightseers arrived in Moldova from Romania (19.7 percent), Austria (13.1 percent), Russia (11.9 percent), Ukraine (8.4 percent), Germany (6.4 percent), Poland (5. 8), China (2.9), Italy (2.7), Netherlands (2.6), Japan (2.5), USA (2.1), Turkey (2), Switzerland (1.6), Israel and Great Britain (1.5 each), France (1.4), Slovenia and Finland (1.3 each), Belgium (1.2) and Estonia (1.1).

Through the mediation of travel agencies and tour operators in January-June 2018, 109 thousand tourists and sightseers went abroad. Moldovan citizens prefer to travel to Turkey (33.6%), Bulgaria (20%), Romania (14.7%), Egypt (12.2%), Greece (6.8%), Ukraine (3.9%), Italy (1.9%). 1), Spain (0.9), Czech Republic (0.8), Hungary and UAE (0.6 each).

The number of tourists and sightseers participating in domestic tourism in January-June 2018 amounted to 17.9 thousand. The movement of Moldovan residents within the country for tourism purposes was organized, in particular, by travel agencies and tour operators from Chisinau municipality (46.3 percent), Center (26.4) and South (24.1) development regions.

But economic analyst Dumitru Barbalat doubts the validity of all this official data.

Statistics say that 135.1 thousand tourists were provided with travel services, an increase of 22.2 percent. And that for one tourist arriving in Moldova there are 13 Moldovan tourists (that is, about 1.76 million).

And despite the fact that, according to another official information, crossed the Moldovan border in the first half of the year 1.9 million foreigners (gains) and 2.6 million Moldovans (losses).

The statistics do not specify how many people crossed the border repeatedly. Even so, it is unlikely that out of the 2.6 million Moldovans who crossed the border, 1.76 million were tourists. Because a tourist is supposed to have currency in his purse.

By the way, the definition of "tourist" in the legislation different countries varies greatly.

Moldovan law defines a tourist as individual moving outside the place of residence for a period of at least 24 hours for purposes other than the performance of paid activities in the place visited. Russian and Romanian legislation defines even entrepreneurial, professional and business trips as tourism. In addition, tourism as the purpose of the trip is determined by the border guards according to the free declaration of arrivals. But how many arrived, say, an Afghan, is familiar with the definition of "tourist".

In general, the problem of accounting for tourists is very confusing. By definition from Bureau of Statistics metadata, tourists are people who spend at least one night in a collective or private tourist accommodation structure (hotel). That is, all hotel guests are taken into account indiscriminately. And statistics have not revised their definition since 2006, when the law on tourism was passed, which gave a different definition to the concept of "tourist".

In recent years, the number of so-called foreign tourists arriving in Moldova has been about 3-4 million annually. But of these, only about 17 thousand came through travel agencies.

The same is true for the Moldovans who annually leave the country, as if as tourists. In total there are 5-6 million of them. And only 170-180 thousand - through travel agencies. Most likely, the difference between millions and thousands is the tourists.

That is why in April the tourism agency was reorganized (read - liquidated), turning into an ordinary department within the investment agency.

The number of true tourists can also be determined indirectly. Statistics provide data on the number of overnight stays in hotels - about 1.5 million per year. Let's assume that these are some tourists. Let's say that everyone spent the night there 10-15 times. Then for a year there would be a maximum of 150 thousand tourists, for six months - 75 thousand. But not 135 thousand, as the statistics say. And this is 20 times less than the official figure.

Accounting for tourists and the activities of the entire tourism infrastructure requires more thorough verification and analysis. The data that on average each of the 370 travel agencies had an annual turnover of only 25-30 thousand lei are implausible, while the turnover of micro-enterprises is up to 9 million lei.
