Tourists traveling in Slovenia often head to the Bled Castle, which stands on top of a 140-meter cliff, at the bottom of which is the beautiful Bled Lake. From the castle in all directions can be seen Mountain peaks: Karavanke Ridge, Julian Alps. In the valley between the mountains there is a lake, on which there is the island of Bled with a small ring of trees. On the island stands the Church of the Assumption with a baroque clock tower. From the shore of the lake you can swim to the island on a rented boat. The lake is protected from cold winds by mountains, so the water here is quite warm. Three hotels have been built on the northern shore of the lake, which are equipped with pools fed by thermal springs.
