What are the authorities hiding from us in the Nagatinskaya floodplain? Amusement park "Dream Island" in the Nagatinskaya floodplain — Moscow Disneyland

What they just didn’t want to do on the territory of the Nagatinskaya floodplain: Entertainment Center with golf courses, a yacht club, a hippodrome, hotels and even a Formula 1 track.

But none of the projects was destined to come true.

The abandoned place was empty, and if anyone was attracted, then the Nazis and the homeless, who loved to while away their leisure time here.

Real work began here recently, at the same time the territory of the floodplain was surrounded by a fence, which caused a lot of concern among local population. Everyone was interested in the question: what are they going to build there?

New children's theme park is a large-scale project implemented by the Regions group of companies. "Island of Dreams" will be the world's first indoor park, where all the rides are concentrated under one roof.

"Dream Island" will consist of a recreation area under open sky and the DreamWorks indoor themed complex, which will recreate the characters of the cartoons Shrek, Bee Movie: Honey Plot, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and others. Each piece of the park will be dedicated to a separate fairy tale or cartoon.

The highlight of the "island" and its national distinction will be the park of the film studio "Soyuzmultfilm". Cheburashka, Gena the crocodile, the wolf and the hare, and other heroes of the classic Soviet animation studio, on whose stories several generations of Russians grew up, will make up more than 60 percent of the park's characters.

The project for planning the territory of the future island of children's happiness has already been approved by the Moscow government. In addition to indoor theme and landscape parks, entertainment center will also include concert hall, well-maintained pedestrian embankment, hotel, yacht club, cruise River port, a modern cinema and, of course, parking.

The indoor park and concert hall will receive visitors at any time of the year and at any time. weather conditions, thanks to which the park will receive the status of an all-season park.

Thanks to the construction indoor park and a concert hall, which will attract visitors at any time of the year and in any weather conditions, the park will receive the status of an all-season park. According to the plan, the park will be open all year round.

Now construction is in full swing, and in two years they plan to launch the first phase of the park. Typically, a project of this magnitude is planned for at least 10 years, but in this case, the builders plan to meet the deadline of three years.

Many townspeople were worried that trees would be destroyed during construction. For dusty and gassed Moscow, every blade of grass is precious, but here a whole forest area was "under threat". In fact, no one makes a special felling on the spot. The project of the future amusement park was developed in such a way as to preserve the green spaces of the Nagatinskaya floodplain. To do this, they abandoned the standard layout in favor of building a park of irregular and complex shape. New facilities will be erected on the site of asphalted areas and areas of former garbage dumps, which are in abundance here.

Nobody destroys those trees that ended up on the construction site. Furthermore, all of them are removed in protective boxes.

We continue the theme of Kolomensky. In addition to the famous museum-estate, there is another little-known park near the metro of the same name. There are few people there, although the place is quite pleasant.

To come here, you need to cross the Nagatinsky metro bridge (the one along which the Zamoskvoretskaya line goes), and then turn right. Along Prospekt Andropov stretches a car platform (on which I once learned to drive), in a certain place to the right of it a wide alley lined with slabs departs.

On "wikimapia" this place is designated as a fireworks platform.
From it stretches such an alley

The alley will lead you to the South River Station. Now nothing floats from it, the whole building is occupied by some firms.

But on the side, the bas-reliefs remind of the port of the five seas!

Across the river we observe the Nagatinsky backwater area with ladder houses visible from the metro.

Apparently there was once a large flow of ships that made several moorings.

Although you can't get to some of them anymore..

Well, okay, we're all about the station and about the station. Let's go further along the floodplain. Most of it is occupied by open fields.

Along the edges of the floodplain is framed by a forest, unfortunately, extremely polluted ..

From the northern part of the peninsula, one can observe the bay, which was once the channel of the Moskva River. And behind it are the Avtozavodskaya metro areas. Well, all sorts of moorings with boats.

There, by the way, is the church, which is located at the intersection of Andropov Avenue and Trofimov Street.

A cozy toe, it’s probably good to come here to relax, make all sorts of barbecues.

It offers picturesque views of the areas adjacent to the Kozhukhovskaya metro station.

as well as South Port

In the Nagatinskaya floodplain of the Moscow River, the construction of the Dream Island amusement park is in full swing, which should become the largest indoor amusement park in the world. The area of the entire site is 100 hectares, approximately 32 of which is a landscape park that spreads around the building. The pace of construction is shocking: construction began in the first quarter of last year, and by today the underground parking for 70,000 square meters has been fully completed, all monolithic work has been completed, and the installation of metal structures and the design of a glass dome over the park have begun. In addition to the park itself with attractions and theme areas, there will be a cinema with 14 halls, a concert hall, a promenade with copies of world attractions, a hotel, a yachting school, shops and cafes.

The group of companies "Regions" is engaged in the project, which is also building a new Ferris wheel at VDNKh. The opening is scheduled for 2018.

The Village visited the real estate investment forum MIPIM in Cannes, where Amiran Mutsoev, co-founder of Regions, and Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning Policy, presented the park development project, and found out what exactly is being built on the banks of the Moskva River, what attractions are planned in Dream Island ”, why the partnership with Dreamworks did not work out and how they want to attract tourists to Moscow at the expense of the new park and solve transport problem a residential complex under construction on the site of the ZIL plant.

Thematic zones

Regions acquired the rights to use the characters from Nickelodeon, Sony Pictures, The Smurfs, Sanrio and Soyuzmultfilm. Thus, in the "Island of Dreams" there will be a zone with ninja turtles, a village of smurfs, a hotel "Transylvania" from "Monsters on Vacation", a zone called " lost World with dinosaurs, as well as the castles of the Snow Queen and a playground with heroes of Soviet cartoons. In addition, a cafe and a Hello Kitty store will open in the park.

Initially, the Dream Island was planned to be built in cooperation with Dreamworks, however, as Mutsoev explains, in the end the contract had to be abandoned, since the partners set the condition to make the park a mono-brand. This ruled out the possibility of using Russian cartoon characters, which would be illogical for an amusement park in Moscow. Therefore, the partnership was terminated, and the "Regions" turned to the companies listed above.

“Coming to the park, the child should plunge into the atmosphere of the cartoon. So he gets into the zone of the Smurfs, what should he see there? He must see everything that he sees in the cartoon: the house of the Smurfs, the trees, the Smurfs themselves, and these will be both animatronics and characters in disguise. He can go into Papa Smurf's house and watch how he cooks - there is such a scene in the cartoon. There must be a complete immersion, ”says Mutsoev.

Creative groups from companies, whose heroes are presented in thematic zones, are also working on the project. Such groups include 20–25 specialists. They make sure that standards for brand use are followed and that the characters meet the parameters prescribed for them. “Even a tree should be painted like in a cartoon,” Mutsoev notes.

Let's say we are making a jungle zone - I can arrange it with the help of walls, with the help of the color of the ceiling. I want - the sky will be tropical, I want - polar. You can't do that in an open park.

A 10-story replica of the Transylvania Hotel from the cartoon of the same name will appear in the park. The area of the castle will be 34 thousand square meters. At the entrance to the castle, a reception desk will open, next to which skeletons and other monsters from the cartoon will walk.

In addition to beautifully designed spaces and attractions, there are also planned educational entertainment. For example, a karate school will operate in the area with ninja turtles. A pizzeria from this cartoon will also be opened here. Every half an hour, the Turtle Zone will host an interactive show, which was developed by a consultant working on the organization of the Oscars film award ceremony.

It is worth noting that the rather popular theme of space is not displayed in the park. Collaboration with Star Wars is impossible, since Disney has already bought the rights to use the brand, and they decided to abandon Star Trek "because there was no longer enough space."

attractions

In total, the park will have 40 various entertainment, 27 of which are attractions. When choosing them, a bet was made on uniqueness and originality: there are samples that exist in a single copy. Mutsoev assures that he personally traveled to amusement parks around the world to select interesting rides for Dream Island.

One of them is located in the Transylvania Hotel already mentioned above. “You get into the car, and the car takes you through all the rooms of the castle, through all the floors, and scenes from the cartoon are played out in the rooms. There will be people, and animatronics, and a 3D projection,” the businessman tells the details.

Another non-standard attraction is located in the dinosaur zone and is called the Flying Theatre.

“This is a cinema with a spherical screen 25 meters high. You sit in your chair, buckle up, and the floor of the theater rises 180 degrees, that is, your legs hang. And you are completely immersed inside the screen, without glasses. You fly over the ocean on a pterodactyl, you get into a scene where two dinosaurs are fighting, and there is a screen around you.

It will be the second such attraction in the world. The first is located in Japan at the Fuji Q Highland amusement park.

Also in the park will be roller coaster- 27 meters in height, with two dead loops. The tallest roller coaster in the world, by the way, is also located in Fuji Park - their height is at the very high point reaches 40 meters. In Dream Island, slides will be placed in the Ninja Turtles area. Their cost will be 12 million euros.

The creators of the park emphasize that the Dream Island will have attractions for visitors of all ages. Here they promise affordable entertainment for children from two to three years old, and just coming to play in thematic zones, for example, the zone with the Smurfs, is offered from the year. All attractions are conditionally divided into several groups: those that are intended only for children, those where a child can go with a parent, and attractions for teenagers and adults.

Promenade

The territory inside the covered part of the park, not reserved for zones related to cartoons, will be divided into parts dedicated to different cities world and their sights. The largest of these zones will be dedicated to Moscow, a small Barcelona with Gaudí buildings, Rome with a mini-copy of the Colosseum and London Street are also planned. All this will be under a high glass dome. In addition, there will be a Sochi zone with a copy of the local port, not far from which a children's driving school will appear.

As planned, visitors should have the feeling that they are not inside the building, but on the city street. To do this, they plan to make wide sidewalks and a two-lane road in the park. It will be possible to move between parts of the park on a small train. In the urban areas around central square The park will mainly house shops and restaurants.

If we are talking about the central square - the width is 70 meters, the length is 150 or 160 meters. This is one and a half football stadiums.

All cafes and restaurants will have access to the street, that is, you can get into them for free through the landscape park, the entrance to which will be free.

In addition, the park promises to create comfortable conditions for parents with small children. The authors of the project were guided by the example of all the same Japan and intend to equip the "Island of Dreams" with spacious rooms for mother and child with showers and bathtubs.

Concert hall and cinema

It is planned to open a concert hall with 3,800 seats in the promenade area, which will host themed evenings and live concerts on weekends.

Not far from it there will be a cinema with IMAX for 14 halls. Here they are going to show children's cartoons, including old Soviet ones.

landscape park

Mutsoev says that at the place where the landscape park will be laid out, there used to be a ZIL dump.

We took out 200 thousand cubic meters of garbage from there. It was generally contraindicated to walk there. The soil had to be disposed of. 16 thousand KAMAZ trucks of soil were removed from this place.

In the territory landscape park there will be a sports zone with volleyball courts, tennis courts, as well as football and basketball fields. Here you can come with your inventory and play for free. In addition, a rope panda park will open in this part of the park. On the other side of the Dream Island building there will be a children's part of the landscape park with playgrounds and other entertainment.

Also, an amphitheater for 200 thousand people will appear here, in which jazz festivals and concerts. Plus, cafes and restaurants will be placed on the territory of the landscape park. However, zones for solitude with nature and walks are also promised: for example, where a Japanese garden will appear.

An artificial reservoir 50 meters wide and 450 meters long will be created in the park. “This is a small river, bridges will be made there, in summer time the gondolas will float for years,” the entrepreneur shares. An outdoor summer cinema will be built nearby.

Free trains will run through the landscape park, which will heat in winter and cool in summer. The length of the embankment on its territory will be two kilometers.

Yachting school and port

A children's yachting school will open on the embankment, and the Regions want to involve one of the famous yachtsmen in the implementation of the project. Details have not yet been disclosed, since there are no specific agreements yet. They also hope to involve the Sailing Federation in the work in the future.

The school will have a separate building in which not only practical, but also theoretical classes will be held. The cost of training is still unknown, but the company is guided by the average price of children's classes in this area, which is 3-3.5 thousand rubles a month.

In addition, the company plans to reconstruct the South River Station so that it can receive large tourist vessels. River trams will also stop here.

Tourism

A hotel with 410 rooms will be built on the territory of the Dream Island - high building from red brick. Visitors to the park who come from other cities will be able to stay here.

“If you take an analogy, let's say Disneyland Paris, the tourist flow has increased five times since the opening of the park. Why such projects are socially important: due to such projects, the whole city begins to develop. We assume 50,000 visitors per day, 15,000 of them are tourists. The hotel, which will be located in our park, will have 410 rooms. This means that we will be able to accommodate 950 people per day. It turns out that everyone else will stay in other hotels in the city, and due to this project, others will start earning, small and medium-sized businesses will begin to develop,” says Mutsoev.

According to him, now 60% of tourists coming to Moscow are business tourism, and there are also many elderly travelers. The entrepreneur explains this by the fact that there is little entertainment for families with children in the city. “We went to Red Square, went to the Kremlin, then what? Then the children need to be taken somewhere, they need to be entertained. Therefore, tourists with children in Moscow do not stay for more than two days - children are already bored on the second day. As a result, due to this project, tourists will spend more money in Moscow than is happening today,” he is sure.

The creators of the park note that they deliberately wanted to build the Dream Island not outside the city, but precisely within the boundaries of Moscow, and not too far from the center. According to Mutsoev, tokyo disneyland located in the city center, locals visit much more often than Parisians go to the amusement park of the same name in the suburbs. Thus, the bet is made that the location will become an additional attractive element for visitors.

Transport infrastructure and parking

As for the transport infrastructure of the Dream Island, the Moscow government has big plans. According to Marat Khusnullin, they will lay here new road, which will run along the embankment and connect the former ZIL industrial area and the park across the Moscow River. Thus, the mayor's office wants to solve two problems at once: to provide transport accessibility to the residential complex being built on the territory of the former factory and to unload Andropov Avenue, which is regularly stuck in traffic jams.

In total, it is planned to build more than 20 kilometers of roads, including several bridges, on the territory of the industrial zone. Bridge to Warsaw highway planned to be built in 2018. At the same time, the entire organization of the process was taken over by the "Regions", which hired a subcontractor for this - Land Milano. This company also has to improve the embankment along the Dream Island.

On the territory of the park itself, 4,500 parking spaces. There will be two parking lots - a large underground one and a smaller surface one. The owners are not afraid of a lack of parking spaces: they are sure that the citizens are ready to give up their personal car and switch to public transport. “Governments around the world are doing things to get rid of cars. We are also moving towards this. Here on paid parking everyone swears, but how else can people be forced to transfer to public transport? - asks Mutsoev, noting that "no matter how many parking lots you make for this park, it will still not be enough." Therefore, the developer decided to go for some middle option, in order to "weed out motorists" among other things.

Interestingly, according to the project approved by Sergei Sobyanin, the Regions will also rebuild the territory of the 13th bus depot, which is located at the Tekhnopark metro station across the road, approximately opposite central entrance in Dream Island. Here will be erected multi-level parking, and a place for buses will be allocated under its first floor.

Free shuttles are available from the park to nearby metro stations.

Issue price

The creators have not yet named the exact cost of a ticket to the park, but they say that it "should not exceed 1,500 rubles." At the same time, visiting the landscape park and all playgrounds and sports zones located on its territory will be, as mentioned above, free of charge.

The total investment in the project is 69 billion rubles. The builder bears the entire cost. Transport infrastructure in the area of the future park is estimated at 30 billion rubles, which were allocated from the Moscow budget.

In the Smurf Village, young guests can ride in candy booths that rise high above the ground, on the Magic Storks attraction or on the children's Ferris wheel. Here you can also meet famous Smurfs: Cheerful, Lazy and even Papa Smurf.

Guests of the park will be able to visit the "House of Papa Carlo". This thematic area is dedicated to the world in which Pinocchio lived. Here you can see the workshop of Pope Carlo, look into puppet show, where the performance is about to begin, and to the toy store.

A zone dedicated to motor sports will also be equipped. The first race track with virtual reality in Russia will be built here. The race track will be 11 meters high and 210 meters long. Young guests of the park will be able to feel like autopilots at the driving school, where they will be taught how to drive cars. You can have a bite to eat in a themed cafe, and buy a souvenir in the shop.

city promenade

A city promenade will be built in front of the entrance to the amusement area. Visitors will be able to walk around different cities of the world and see their sights - the buildings of Gaudi, which seemed to be transferred from Barcelona, go to the small Roman Colosseum, walk along the streets of London and Beverly Hills. It will be possible to move between cities within the park on a small train.

landscape park

Around children's center lay out a landscape park. There are walking alleys, gardens, fountains, playgrounds, one of the largest rope parks, an open cinema with 800 seats and an amphitheater with 1400 seats.

In the natural part of the park they form new relief flat in the south and hilly in the north. Where the work has already been completed, the lawn is being seeded. Specialists plant varieties of bluegrass, fescue, bent grass and ryegrass. For this, a special fertile soil was brought. The sowing area will be more than 220 thousand square meters. meters, which is 30 times more area football field.

The park will not use rolled turf, as natural turf lasts much longer. Moreover, plants will be planted in the shade that easily tolerate the absence sunlight. And near the main alleys, children's and playgrounds, a "velvet" lawn of low soft grass will be laid out. Wildflowers, hardy and drought tolerant, will appear in open areas.

Nearly 3,000 trees will be planted in the park: spruces, pines, birches, oaks and maples. In addition, 38 thousand shrubs will appear: thuja, juniper, rhododendrons and azaleas, derain and lilac. More than 50 thousand flowers will grow here: tulips, daffodils, hazel grouses, lilies of the valley, crocuses and anemones.

As part of the second stage of construction, a 2 km long embankment will be improved. There will be a promenade for pedestrians and cycling, will erect a concert hall, a hotel with 410 rooms and a children's yachting school.

It is expected that the number of visitors theme park attractions will be about 7.5 million people a year, and the entire Dream Island complex will be able to visit up to 50 million people a year.

How to get there

You can get to the park from the metro station "Technopark" of the Zamoskvoretskaya metro line, with which it will be connected by a glass pedestrian bridge over Andropov Avenue. Also, the ZIL station of the Moscow Central Ring appeared in the neighborhood.

On the territory of "ZIL" opened new highway- Likhachev Avenue and streets of citywide significance. In total, more than 30 km of roads and bridges across the Moscow River will be built there. will be open and new bridge, leading to the "Island of Dreams", through the Kozhukhovsky backwater from the Yuzhnoportovy district.

Underground and surface parking lots for 4,000 cars will be built on the territory of the park. For tourists, a hotel with 410 rooms will be opened here.

In the Nagatinskaya floodplain there is a park named after the 60th anniversary of October. This place is located in Southern District capitals of Russia. This one is surrounded by the Moskva River and borders on the Kolomenskoye conservation area and Andropov Avenue.

Ancient people lived in these places, which is confirmed by archaeological excavations. Where new houses were built, there were once the villages of Nagatino, Kolomenskoye and Novinki. The Nagatinskaya floodplain itself originates from the Dyakov settlement, and the backwater is the largest in Moscow.

Flora and fauna

This area is distinguished by a huge amount of green spaces, mainly deciduous trees and shrubs grow here. For this reason, many birds live in the floodplain. Nesting birds have been spotted here, which are listed in the Red Book. Pike comes to spawn in the creek, and reeds grow on the banks. has a huge environmental significance for the city.

History and modernity

Up to a certain point in the Nagatinskaya Poyma Park it was possible to walk and breathe fresh air, to fish.

Back in the 30s of the last century, during the construction of the Perervinsky hydroelectric complex, a floodplain appeared in these places, which was very swampy. In the 60s, they carried out a complete reconstruction, drained the swamp, filled up about a million cubic meters of soil, and as a result, a peninsula was formed, with total area 150 hectares, which was divided by the metro bridge.

On the 60th anniversary of the October Revolution, a park was laid in the armhole. And in 1985 the station was built. Entrance was always free, but there was no proper maintenance of the park, there were no attractions, the territory was not landscaped. To this day, the Nagatinskaya floodplain is marked on the map as a “protected landscape zone”.

In the 2000s, there was talk that construction would begin on the territory of the park. Several projects were submitted for public discussion. One of the plans was to build a race track on this territory, something like a Formula 1, it was also proposed to build the most tall skyscraper, leisure and entertainment center.

As a result, in 2014, the mayor of the capital announced that in 10 years, an analogue of Disneyland would appear on the site of the park in honor of the 60th anniversary of the October Revolution. The building project was approved in 2015.

"Dream Island"

Design work started back in 2008. The architects have visited many amusement parks in the world, from Tokyo to America. The result was the project of the largest indoor amusement park in the world.

The Nagatinskaya floodplain is ideal for development, which will cover approximately 110 hectares. The area of the park is planned to be 300 thousand square meters.

The architects promise that outwardly the entertainment center will look like fairytale castle. It will house not only attractions, but also a concert hall, hotel, places Catering and shops, a cinema, a sailing school for children and a landscaped park. There is a multi-level and huge parking lot.

The authorities made sure that every resident and guest of the capital could get into the park without their own road transport. In 2015, a new Technopark metro station was opened. The construction of a bridge for pedestrians on the "Island of Dreams" should be completed in 2018-2019.

Park structure

The Island of Dreams park in the Nagatinskaya floodplain will have 10 thematic zones, which will house about 40 entertainment sectors, where not only children, but also adults can relax.

It is planned to give 31.9 hectares for the landscape park, where there will be not only trees and other vegetation, but also children's and sports grounds. They also organize a beach and a sector with a pool, several fountains and small ponds.

The park will have a stadium under a glass dome. central part intended for promenades. A school for young yachtsmen will be located on the embankment. All sectors are built on the principle where everyone will have access, including people with limited mobility.

The planned investment is $1.5 billion. According to forecasts, at least 50 million visitors will come here every year. On this moment the main stage of construction has been completed, and the park itself has been classified as one of the main urban planning objects of the capital of Russia.
