Some interesting historical information

These regions were inhabited about 1700 years ago. But after 300 centuries, Genoa, competing with Venice, occupied this area in order to set up its trading posts leading to the Middle East. And a century later, the lands began to belong Ottoman Empire, only about three hundred people lived there and there were fifty-six households.

The village gradually grew. At the end of the 18th century, it became part of the Russian Empire. After numerous upheavals, only forty-two courtyards remained. In the XVII and XIX centuries he changed the names and postscript to various regions and provinces. The village, which from ancient times was called Kapsikhor, however, grew and was inhabited by Tatars, who had a mosque and two shops, and about 500 people had already gathered residents. They actively cultivated grapes because they had their own land.

After the Great Patriotic War

When the revolution took place, the population was already about 1,500 people. Then the Second came to Crimea World War, and in 1944, after the liberation of the peninsula, all Crimean Tatars were resettled in Central Asia. Briefly about Marine (Crimea)

The history of the village began in the Middle Ages. Then this area was called "scorched earth" or Kapsichore.

Do not be afraid: the reason for this formulation was the grass burnt out in the sun - red. You can’t hide from ultraviolet here: on the one hand, the water surface reflects the light, and on the other, hills covered with fiery-colored vegetation at any time of the year.

During the reign of Catherine II, the Kapsikhora Valley was part of the Feodosia district. Since the annexation of Crimea to Russia, the village has changed its volost affiliation, under Soviet rule in the 1920s it entered the Sudak region, where it remains to this day. They stopped calling him Capichore only in 1949, when they first started talking about Morskoy.

The places here are picturesque, almost untouched by man. "Savages" feel great here. And the proof of this is the birth of the rock group "Kino". Once exchanging the fun of Sudak for a vacation in Morskoye, three Leningrad musicians settled on the Black Sea coast, to the lapping of waves and encouraging nods from the villagers, beating out the rhythms of new songs on tin cans.

The memory of this vacation is alive in the village: the inscription on commemorative sign in the form of a guitar reads: "Here began" Kino ".

    How to get to Marine

If there is an intention to spend a vacation on the Crimean coast, then the path will run through the airport of Simferopol. This Harbour Air accepts planes from all over Russia. An alternative to it could be rail transport, but until this problem is solved, flights - best option: the fastest and most comfortable.

Buses leave from the airport and the nearest bus station almost every minute. In the direction we need, they go about 5 times a day, sitting on one of the comfortable cars, you will quickly find yourself in Morskoy, where you want to go on vacation immediately. Everything about everything will take you two hours, and one and a half if you choose a car.

More often long-distance bus service works with Sudak, from which yes the Sea order is 20 km. It's nice that between these settlements transport is constantly running - it will not be difficult to get to Morskoy.

    Sea Village

The village of Morskoye (former Kapsikhor) is located 16 kilometers from Sudak along the Sudak - Alushta highway. It is easy to get there by local bus.

Most of the villages located west of Sudak have been known since the Middle Ages. On the site of Privetnoye was the village of Skuti, Zelenogorye - the former Arpat, Gromovka - Tassili. Under the Genoese, these villages were part of the Soldai Consulate, subordinate to Kaffa.

In the 9th century, in the area of the modern village of Morskoye, near Cape Ai-Fok, a settlement of St. Foka arose. The inhabitants of the village were engaged in fishing and gardening, which is why the temple was dedicated to Saint Fok, the patron saint of gardeners and sailors.

In the late 90s of the XX century, archaeologists, exploring the settlement, discovered the foundations of several small temples. The remains of one of them can be seen at Cape Ai-Fok. These are low light-stone walls of a rectangular building with a protruding five-sided apse oriented to the east. Inside the temple, they found various ceramics and details of artistic painting, and next to it were six burials.

Marine. Worship cross. Archbishop Gabriel describes two monasteries in Morskoy in the name of the holy prophet Elijah. But Bishop Gabriel himself did not find these monasteries in the middle of the 19th century. Today, archaeologists know the location of one of them, on the top of Mount Kamatra, towering over the village with north side. On January 9, 2001, the Poklonny Cross was restored on the mountain in honor of the 2000th anniversary of the birth of Christ. A day later, more than 50 priests from all over Crimea gathered for its consecration. The celebration was led by Metropolitan Lazar of Simferopol and Crimea. During the consecration of the cross, a large beautiful rainbow rose over the village.

After the annexation of Crimea to Russia, when the land was distributed to Catherine's nobles, the Kapsikhorskaya Valley went to the ruler of the office of G. Potemkin, Viktor Semenovich Popov, formerly the ruler of the office of Dolgorukov-Krymsky. Potemkin died in the arms of V. Popov and his niece, in 1791, on the road, not far from the city of Yass.

Long known climatic features terrain. Patients here were treated with sunbathing. “The patient is buried in the sand heated by the sun, leaving only the head free, which is shaded with a blanket or umbrella,” N.A. described in 1894. Golovkin treatment on the beach in Kapsichore. In 1910, a dacha colony arose here, which included Leonid Andreev, Fedor Chaliapin.

In the summer of 1981, an event took place here, which now we can also call historical. By chance, Morskoye became the birthplace of the legendary Russian group "Kino". One of the founders of the group, Alexey Rybin, in the book "Film from the very beginning", tells in detail how this happened.

That summer, three young Leningrad musicians arrived in Sudak - Viktor, Alexei, Oleg. “For a number of reasons,” says A. Rybin, “on arrival in Sudak, we were quite hungry, exhausted and physically weakened. In addition, since all three were, in their own opinion, musicians, we dragged with us, in addition to the tent, a backpack with all sorts of good and travel bags and two more guitars. And with all this junk, we settled in some stingy canteen and began to refresh ourselves.

They didn't make it to the beach that day. Directly in the dining room, an acquaintance with local guys took place who invited three friends to Morskoye, while promising “free meals in the village cafeteria, where one of our new friends worked as a cook, which, I must say, was sacredly observed, and we dined for free for two weeks in beach cafe.

It is impossible not to quote a few more quotes from the colorful description of the stay of young musicians in Morskoye.

Group "Kino" "We found a place for the camp very quickly, on the bank of a stream. We really liked the fact that there were a lot of trees and bushes around - this solved the problem of firewood, and a hundred meters from the future of our camp a piece of iron stuck out of the ground, which, upon closer examination, turned out to be a column that, with considerable physical effort, gave out a certain amount of clean fresh water. The trees later turned out, however, to be representatives of some incredible species that bent, but did not break, and were not especially cut, and if they were cut, they did not burn at all, but only smoked foully, hissed and wriggled like reptiles. Because of this, Tsoi and I, I think, in the first and in last time in my life, I had to, to my shame, engage in theft: we stole firewood from local residents. Walking on beautiful hot nights along the prospects of the village, we innocently grabbed one or another block of wood from those that negligent owners sometimes forgot to drag over the fence.

And in the evening they played for four hours without a break on a small local Broadway. “Thus, the inhabitants of the Morskoye village turned out to be the first listeners of the group, which later became known as Kino.

The next morning they sang and played on the beach, near their tent.

“By this time, we were all somewhat out of work: the Pilgrim group had already collapsed, unable to withstand the creative disputes of the team members, the Chamber was also silent, in general, we were all on a creative vacation.

Vitka, listen, by the way, I like your songs, - I said.

And to me - yours, - Vitka told me.

Let's maybe make a group, - I looked at Oleg.

    This is great! Oleg smiled.

    Let's go, - said Vitka.

And here, on the Black Sea coast, near the tent, a serious discussion of numerous organizational problems began. At the same time, the first name of the group appeared - "Garin and the Hyperboloids", which was later replaced by "Kino". And then they sang again, made arrangements, beating out the rhythm on tin cans.

“The rehearsal immediately began and continued, with breaks for swimming and drinking, for the rest of the Crimean week and a half that we had. Every evening we gave a concert for picky villagers, which helped a lot to hone and clean all the songs - the villagers yelled, drank, dangled past us back and forth, which distracted from the game, but helped us learn to focus on the music and go headlong into the hard rhythm of the big -bat...

We quickly got tired of the south. Moreover, the new group, which was born under the hot Crimean sun and had already won the hearts of the southerners from Morskoye, now had grandiose plans for conquering the north. Plans that were destined to triumphantly come true ...

Leaving Morskoye, we go along the highway or the beach to the west, towards Alushta. Far ahead, on the horizon, the goal of our journey is visible: Choban-Kule - the Shepherd's Tower, located on Cape Agira.

The highway runs along the sea, just a few dozen meters from the coast. During terrible autumn storms, waves easily reach the road, constantly washing it away. It needs a major overhaul almost every year.

The highway climbs a low hill. Until the beginning of the 90s, a grandiose, several meters high, monument to the paratroopers stood here. Now only a pedestal and stone legs of a sculptural group remain from it. A tablet with the text survived: “In August 1920, a group of communists and military specialists of the Red Army landed at this place, headed by Mokrousov A.V. to organize partisan struggle in the Crimea. The group included Papanin I.D., Efimov A.I., Pogrebnoy V.S., Kulish G.A., Vasiliev A., Mulyarenok S.A., Aleinikov F.N., Grigoriev A.V., Sokolov D.S.” The destroyed monument reminded of really interesting events.

Alexei Vasilyevich Mokrousov was a man with a truly legendary biography. Laborer, and then a miner in the Donbass and Glasgow. Baltic sailor who visited London, Sydney and Buenos Aires. Political emigrant who participated in the labor movement in Sweden, Denmark, Australia, Argentina. In October 1917, he commanded the Baltic sailors who captured the Petrograd Telegraph Agency. Mokrousov defended Kherson, Rostov, Taganrog from the Germans, freed Fastov and Kyiv from Denikin. At the head of a detachment of revolutionary Sevastopol sailors, he established Soviet power in Feodosia, and in Sevastopol he formed a detachment with which he went to the Don to fight against Kaledin.

One of the first to participate in the landing, I. D. Papanin, a future polar explorer, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, joined Mokrousov.

The time has come for the operation. Two boats went out to sea from Novorossiysk - the Vityaz and the Gadzhibey. But ... summed up the accident. A former midshipman of the tsarist fleet named Georges was invited as a navigator. He was known as a man who knew Crimean coast. However, Georges turned out to be a bitter drunkard. He was so indifferent to alcohol that when it was required to fill the compass with alcohol, an observer had to be put in place so that alcohol instead of a compass would not get into Georges' mouth. It was the navigator who let the paratroopers down.

Night has come. Soon the shores of the Crimea were to appear. Nothing could be seen in the darkness. Suddenly, the "Vityaz" sharply slowed down. It turns out that Mokrousov recognized the Feodosia bay. I had to turn around sharply in order to leave the enemy zone before dawn and return to the Caucasian shores.

On the way back, the Vityaz failed. When trying again, I had to get by with one "Hajibey". This time everything went well. The landing was made near the village of Kapsikhor. To hide the traces of the landing force, the Hajibey was flooded. Good swimmers Mulyarenok and Efimov, having undressed, took the boat away from the shore and pierced the bottom there.

The rebel army assembled by Mokrousov inflicted serious blows on Wrangel. The White Guards had to withdraw an entire division from the front. A plan was developed to destroy the partisans. Military units from Feodosia, Sudak, Yalta, Alushta, Simferopol began to surround the forest.

At this moment, the reconnaissance partisan Kisses and his comrades, dressed in the uniform of the White Guards, tracked down and captured the colonel of the general staff Borzhkovsky. From the documents found, it turned out that the colonel was the chief of staff for the fight against partisans. Were received important information about the upcoming operation to destroy the partisans.

The partisan detachments managed to break out of the encirclement and retreat further into the mountains. However, the situation continued to be difficult. It became necessary to contact the command, report on the situation and coordinate their plans with the headquarters of the Southern Front. It was decided to send Soviet Russia reliable person. The choice fell on I.D. Papanin.

Only possible way to get to Soviet Russia was the way through Trebizond. It was possible to agree with the smugglers that for a thousand Nikolaev rubles they would transport a person to the opposite coast of the Black Sea.

The journey to Trebizond proved to be long and unsafe. There he managed to meet with the Soviet consul, who on the very first night sent Papanin on a large transport ship to Novorossiysk.

In Kharkov, he was received by the commander of the Southern Front, M.V. Frunze. Having told about the state of affairs in the Crimea and having received the necessary assistance, Papanin began to prepare for the return journey. In Novorossiysk, he was joined by the future famous writer Vsevolod Vishnevsky.

It was November. The sea was constantly stormy, but it was impossible to lose time. One night, the paratroopers went to sea on the Rion and Shahin ships and the Mi-17 fighter boat, where Papanin was.

They walked in the dark, with the lights out. A northeasterly wind blew. The storm intensified. The Papaninites circled for a long time, looking for the Rion and Shokhin in the dark, but, convinced of the futility of the search, they headed for the Crimea. On the way, we stumbled upon the White Guard ship "Three Brothers". I had to stop him and, so that the White Guards did not inform the enemy headquarters about the landing, the owner of the ship and his companion were taken hostage, and the crew was given an ultimatum: do not approach the shore for 24 hours.

The relentless storm exhausted everyone. Huge waves rolled across the deck. The hatches on the boat were battened down. There was a terrible stuffiness in the room. The paratroopers suffered from thirst: there was no water, as the anchor was torn off the deck.

In the dark we approached the village of Kapsikhor. Huge waves rolled onto the shore, crashing against coastal cliffs. They dragged all the cargo ashore - machine guns, rifles, cartridges, bombs. The village soon became aware of the appearance of paratroopers. The detachment quickly grew, replenished with local residents. Having handed out rifles to the newly arrived, they moved to Alushta, disarming the retreating White Guards along the way. On the approach to the city, the paratroopers connected with units of the 51st division of the Southern Front.

A second landing near Kapsichore landed on 10 November. The day before, Wrangel's fortifications at Perekop had been breached. The rebel army, led by Mokrousov, left the forest and moved to Feodosia in order to cut off the white retreat. Soon Soviet power was finally established in the Crimea.

More than twenty years later, Soviet paratroopers again landed on the coast.

In January 1942, simultaneously with the landings in Sudak and Novy Svet, units of Soviet troops landed near Morskoye. Their fate was tragic. Taken in a ring, almost all the soldiers died, only a few managed to break into the forest, to the partisans.

Seven paratroopers ended up in the village of Voron. They were dead tired and had not eaten for a long time. We went to a house on the edge of the village.

The soldiers did not have time to eat when they heard the noise of the engine under the windows. Rushing to the windows, they saw the Nazis jumping off the truck. There were about twenty of them. There was no hope of leaving home. The paratroopers opened fire. Nine Nazis fell slain. The rest set the house on fire.

Seven paratroopers died under the collapsed roof. Their names are known: Sergeant Major Reznikov, Red Navy F.S. Belt, S.P. Korukin, N. Kotelnikov, I.I. Avdienko, Nesterenko, Pskovtsev. In the center of the village of Voron, an obelisk is erected over the grave of fallen soldiers.

In Crimea, everywhere - on busy city streets, on noisy highways and quiet forest glades, you can find majestic monuments or modest obelisks to the victims and heroes of the past bloody war. And how could it be otherwise: after all, during the years of the Great Patriotic War, Crimea was the site of the most fierce battles. Until recently, the monuments were well-groomed and landscaped. Now many of them, forgotten and abandoned, are overgrown with grass or become victims of vandalism by the ungrateful descendants of the dead heroes.

It is hard to even imagine who might need to drive powerful equipment at night to overthrow the multi-meter statue and take it away in an unknown direction. But if they do so with giant statues, then small modest obelisks are completely defenseless against stupid hooligans.

However, let's continue our journey. Cape Agira with the medieval Genoese tower Choban-Kule is on the horizon. Once, in the XV century, it was the castle of the feudal lords di Guasco.

The Guasco brothers are perhaps the most famous people in all centuries of history Sugdei thanks to the case of the brothers, which is preserved in the archives of the St. George in Genoa. Probably, there is not a single book dedicated to Sudak in which the brothers were not at least mentioned. In the book of S. Sekirinsky "Essays on the history of Surozh" (1955), all 22 documents of the case were published.

In two historical novels dedicated to medieval Sudak: A. Krupnyakov's "By the Russian Sea" and V. Vladimirov's "The Last Consul", the brothers are among the main characters. Of course, we also cannot ignore them, especially since we dared to visit their once formidable dwelling.

From the recent past to the more distant past. Fast forward from the 20th century to the 15th century.

To get acquainted with the case of the Guasco brothers, let's turn to a relatively little-known wide circle of lovers of antiquity. "News of the Taurida Scientific Archival Commission", No. 38 (Simferopol, 1905). Here is an engraving depicting the ruins of the Sudak fortress, and an article by L. Colli "Christoforo di Negro, the last consul of Soldaya." The author analyzes the correspondence of the consuls and other officials of Caffa and its subordinate colonies with the trustees of the Bank of St. George, who in the middle of the 15th century took over the management of the Black Sea colonies.

On August 27, 1471, the board of trustees of the bank of St. George, the nobleman Christoforo di Negro was elected consul of Soldaya instead of Bartolomeo Santabrogio, who was returning to his homeland, and immediately took over the administration of the colony, although his patent was dated June 13, 1472.

IN last years the existence of the Black Sea colonies, oppressed by the Turks, the law limiting the consular service to one year was no longer respected. Di Negro was ordered to keep his post for another year. The following year, 1473, the bank council elected Melchione Gentile as Soldai consul, but he refused this honor, since he could no longer reach his destination.

The Board of Trustees did everything possible to maintain relations with their colonies on the Black Sea, but the conditions for this became more and more unfavorable. Sultan Mohammed II closed the Dardanelles to the Genoese courts. The Turks, in alliance with the Tatars, increasingly pressed the possessions of the Genoese on the Black Sea. For a long time now, the Caffa council of rulers had been unable to properly correspond with the bank. From Italy, as well as from the Crimea, messengers with instructions were sent by land; some died on the road, others after 5-6 months had difficulty reaching their destination. And in this terrible time, in the most tragic period in the history of Soldaia, for four years her affairs were led by Christoforo di Negro.

“A true defender of the law, devoted to the depths of his soul to the mission intended for him,” - this is how L. Colli characterizes the role of di Negro in the famous case of the Guasco brothers - a lawsuit over the arbitrariness of the owners of the villages of Tassili and Scuti. These villages were located on the site of modern Gromovka and Privetnoye.

The brothers Andreotto, Demetrio and Teodoro, the sons of the late Antonio Guasco, seized vast tracts of land from Alushta almost to Sudak, arbitrarily introduced four new types of taxes on this territory, created their own armed detachments, repaired the court and reprisal, with the right of life and death over subordinates.

The Consul of Soldaya ordered his cavalry (police officer) and arguzia (mounted guards) to destroy the gallows and pillory set by the brothers, but the detachment met armed resistance and returned empty-handed.

The Guasco brothers complained about the actions of the soldiery consul in Kaffa, where they had connections. The incident escalates into a clash between two consuls - di Negro and Cabella. The Soldai Consul recalls the legal side of the matter, the rights of the St. George and his compromised honor and expresses his readiness to "execute quickly, fairly and honestly the letter of the law." However, the consul of Caffa first ordered the case to be postponed, and then ruled in favor of the Guasco brothers.

Christoforo di Negro, in a letter to the trustees of the bank of St. George directly accuses the Kaffa administration of corruption: "They (Guasco) are patronized in everything, because they spare no money or other gifts." He was ready to prove his case before the council of the bank, but for this he had to return to Genoa. And this di Negro was not destined. Two months later, hordes of Ahmet Gedik Pasha appeared under the walls of the Soldai fortress.

According to legend, the last consul of Soldaya burned alive along with other defenders of the fortress in the fortress set on fire by the Turks. It happened in June 1475.

Leaving the highway, we rise to a tower overlooking the sea on a rocky, steep hill. The upper part of the tower is destroyed; now its height does not exceed 8-9 meters. The walls, green from time to time, reach a thickness of three meters. On the first floor, a fireplace, an embrasure with a camera, and a slope of the entrance to the tower have been preserved. In the basement was a pool for water.

From the west, north and east, access to the tower was covered by a defensive wall 230 meters long. The entrance to the fortress was probably in the northwestern wall.

IN different time the monument was described or explored by Pallas, Keppen, Berthier-Delagarde, Sekirinsky, Jacobson, Fronjulo. Each of these names will tell a lot to the lover of the Crimean antiquity.

Near the tower are the remains of a Greek temple of the XIV-XV centuries. The church was built by the Greeks - the future builders of the castle of the Guasco brothers before the construction of the tower, because without prayer and God's help they did not dare to embark on such a responsible business, and the next Orthodox church was far enough.

In more early times, in the VIII-IX centuries, at the foot of the hill there was a large pottery center. According to field research conducted in 1989-1992, there were 13-14 kilns near Choban-Kul. Ceramic vessels made here were found throughout Taurica and beyond: on the left bank of the Dnieper, in the Sea of \u200b\u200bAzov, on the Don.

Pottery kilns were located in a chain, on the northwestern and southeastern corners elongated hill running along the sea. The remains of the furnaces are clearly distinguished by the presence of burnt clay and bricks and thick heaps of broken ceramics, lying in continuous layers of a meter thickness in the vicinity of the furnaces. The potters working here were free artisans. They worked in small artels - they jointly owned a large pottery kiln and operated it. No settlement or permanent dwelling at the ovens was found. Work in the workshops was carried out seasonally.

More recently, a couple of decades ago, in this quiet place it was planned to build a new resort complex "Shepherd's Tower" for 3,000 people, with boarding houses, campsites, recreation camps. And, as it was written optimistically in the guidebooks of 1970 - 1980, "there will soon be no silence around." Just as there was no silence - we saw it - in the Dimitraki gorge, in Kapsel, and in many other places.

No, we have not become smarter. Simply, due to some reasons, we are temporarily deprived of the opportunity to do various stupid things - and we are terribly proud of it. And involuntarily you begin to think: it’s good, nevertheless, that in human society from time to time there are staged crises that bring at least temporary respite to our unfortunate mother nature.
